Jim was on the edge of victory—his queen was in position, the board was set. But then came the message: "What will you do if you lose again?" It was Rose, and this time, the stakes felt different. With a playful grin, Jim sent back a challenge, but Rose wasn’t playing by the same rules. Every move felt like a subtle warning, each one setting the stage for something darker.

As the clock ticked closer to midnight, Jim’s confidence slipped. Rose wasn’t just a master of chess—she was one step ahead, always. "Check, baby," she texted, and in an instant, Jim’s carefully crafted strategy unraveled. A new message blinked on his phone, a cryptic command: "Use your horse to take down the queen."

Confused and intrigued, Jim followed the advice, only to realize he wasn’t playing this game alone. An unknown number had begun sending chilling messages, taunting him with phrases like "It’s your time." Who was this? How did they know his every move?

As the game spiraled out of control, Jim found himself trapped in a nightmare of his own making. The line between the game and reality blurred, his phone seeming to control his every action. Desperate, he raced to meet Rose, hoping to escape whatever sinister force was pulling the strings.

But when he arrived, the truth was worse than he could have imagined. The game was never just about chess. Someone was about to die—and it might be him.

Checkmate.

CHECKMATE AT MIDNIGHT
"What will you do if you lose again?” he typed in the chat box and sent the message, then he moved the chariot two steps forward. The opponent texted again, pushing the pawn in front of the rook. "Tell me something about what's going on". "I'm not kidding, Rose. This is the third time I've played online chess with you, and I think it's a hat trick," Jim replied. “In your dreams, baby,” Jim couldn't stop laughing. "She won't give up," he told himself as he aimed his king and advanced his queen as if he had won the game, and asked himself what she would do next. The game continued for half an hour. The night was getting dark, and somewhere far away, dogs started barking. And it was a bad night, and I looked at the clock, and it said 11.55. He couldn't believe it when Rose took the queen to the gym on her horse, and the game changed completely. He doesn't even know why he didn't notice it. Meanwhile, Jim got a text saying, "It's check baby!" "How did you do that?" he asked with much more excitement. "You're not the only smart one," she said. Jim is still in awe. He sent "Impressive" because he didn't see why...it was a smart move. "Haha, what are you going to do, the game is mine..." I can't do anything, checkmate... " Kamon, you can think!!..” Realizing that there was no way around it, he almost went mad. "The game is out of my hands," he grumbled. Then his phone blinked, and when he unlocked it, there was a message with a message saying "Use your horse to take down the queen." Jim looked back at the screen and realized that the move would easily take down the queen. But who helped him? How does he know my condition? He looks at his name and only shows “Unknown”. Surprisingly, it had no number. "Who are you? "How do you know?" Jim sent it back. "Haha!" Anonymous replied. He had no idea who it was when he looked at the screen and saw Rosin's message saying, "I'm waiting". He breathed a sigh of relief, "Was that you? Oh God! I'm pissed off." "What? What did you talk about?" 'The matter of bringing down the queen of gym But she said she didn't do anything like that. He was scared again. Again, Jim asked her name. “I am Satan,” replied the unknown. What, are you killing me? I can be called a devil, Satan, or darkness. "Is this a joke!" "No, it's not. It's supposed to be a joke." Do you feel it? Jim is not in a situation like this. As time went by, he was confused, and his fear increased. Then Satan answered. "Are you afraid?" “How can he read my mind?” He does not understand what is going on around him. "What do you want?" Jim asked. "Yes, I want you. You must die. It's your time." Jim tensed as he didn't understand what his words meant. He started sweating profusely. The barking of the dogs grew louder, and he felt a terrible pain in his head. Is it really his time? He switched off the phone and tried to calm down by sending “I don't want to die”. Surprisingly, the phone turned on by itself, like something unintelligible. "Think wisely. When death happens, someone has to die." "Go to hell," replied Jim. "Haha! You forgot the game". Jim realized that Ross was waiting for his opponent to make a move. He advanced a pledge put But within moments, Rose had been chatting with him continuously. He was scared. But he did not answer that. And who answered Rose's questions? Jim was completely taken aback. Before he knew anything, the computer turned itself on and started typing. He wants to end it all. But nothing was under his control; he asked helplessly. "Why are you doing this?" you said. Someone has died. The computer typed itself again. Rose, I want to see you. Please come down in five minutes. Then Nick is at the back of the gate. "No.. No... he left the room for her and started running towards the place without any idea if he could save Rose or not. It was almost one. The roads were empty, and the only light on the way he could see was running. When he finally reached the place, he saw a man standing alone at a distance. Rose recognized him as he got closer and asked in surprise. “Why do you call me here now? Is there something wrong? Jim tried to say everything at once. But he couldn't. "I didn't call you here, believe me. It wasn't me. It was someone else." Suddenly, the mobile rang and Jim picked it up. "Hello Jim, it's me. Rose is calling from another number. I'm not playing games, it was someone else, not me." The person standing in front of him with a crooked gaze smiled strangely. And said-"Checkmate!"
