The photo on Ethan's phone changed everything.
His sister was alive—but the fear in her eyes told him time was running out.
"We're going after her," Ethan said.
Maya stepped in front of him. "That's exactly what they want. They're leading you into a trap."
Ethan's jaw tightened. "Then we'll walk into it on our terms."
Daniel spread a map across the conference table. The GPS data hidden in the photo pointed to an abandoned warehouse near the old docks.
"It could be fake," Daniel warned. "Or it could be their meeting point."
Ethan looked around the room.
"No police. No leaks. Whoever is behind this has people inside my company."
Claire lowered her eyes, guilt flickering across her face. She wanted to tell Ethan what she knew, but she wasn't sure whom she could trust.
That night, three black SUVs rolled silently towards the docks.
The warehouse stood in darkness, its broken windows reflecting the moonlight.
Ethan raised a hand, signalling his team to stop.
Something felt wrong.
Too quiet.
As they stepped inside, the heavy metal doors slammed shut behind them.
The lights flickered on.
Slow applause echoed through the empty building.
A man stepped out of the shadows, wearing a black mask.
"I knew you'd come, Mr Blackwood."
Ethan stared at him.
"Where is my sister?"
The masked man smiled.
"First... bring me the project file."
"I don't have it."
The man laughed.
"Then someone close to you has been lying."
Suddenly, armed men emerged from every corner of the warehouse.
Daniel reached for his weapon.
"So," he muttered, "it really was a trap."
