“Going somewhere?”
I turned around as I finished putting on my shoes. “Kaoru. Yes, I’ll be home by dinner probably.” Kaoru had his back rested on the wall and his arms crossed.
“Is that so? Then, take care on your way,” he said with a gentle smile. I simply nodded my head and made my way out.
I was on my way to the city hospital to visit someone I should have but didn’t contact in days. The last time we met, we didn’t really get to end the day properly because of an abrupt accident. But at least I’m finally visiting right? It doesn’t really matter if I came urgently or not. In the past, it didn’t really matter either or at least he didn’t seem to mind.
