Aurora
Aurora didn’t sleep. After having her eyes closed for eighteen years, she didn’t want to let the darkness in again so soon. The sounds of the camp faded away as night took over. Only the soft chatter of night guards reached her ears. Wulfric checked on his father, staying for a few minutes of awkwardness before returning to Rapunzel. The Durand prince stayed with them rather than returning to his own kingdom and his family.
Aurora heard stories of his cruel father and even crueler brothers.
Alfred and Chandler checked in as well, but no one stayed when they realized Phillip had yet to wake. Only Aurora watched him, noting the soft smile on his lips as he slept. What did he dream of?
