Dragon Drake's Mission

Chapter 17

Drake turned back and disappeared into thin air. Luna smiled at herself while staring at the bag of rings in her hands.

"I've suddenly turned to Sonic the hedgehog." She grinned and walked to the lecture room. She sat down but her friends are yet to come.

Did they forget they have exams today? 

Soon the professor came in just as she removed her books from her bag to read.

"God, i haven't even read a sentence. I didn't get to read" She mumbled.

"Good morning, students" The man greeted with a devilish smile on his face. "I guess you all are ready for the exam, isn't it? I kind of made my own questions hard this time and only those who read hard will pass...or those who are going to get themselves in examination malpractice. And you wouldn't want me to catch doing that, else, you will get kicked out of the school." He grinned and started to distribute the papers.

Luna began to get worried that are friends are yet to sit for the exam. 'What the f**k are they still doing at home? Or they forget they have exams today?'

Just as she was about to start  her work, they came in and she was so relieved. What happened to them that took them so long like this?

She watched as they begged the professor to let them in and he did due to some explanations Luna didn't get to hear.

Their eyes met with her and she gave them a 'Are you guys alright?' look

Nancy mouthed a 'After the exam' Luna nodded understanding what she's trying to say.

One hour later, Luna dragged her friends to an empty class and stared at her friends for explanation. 

"Can you two tell me what happened that you had to come late? Did you two forget you had exams today?" She folded her arms, twisting her lips and frowning at the same time.

"I remembered about the exams. You know that i don't joke with my exams."Nancy replied her.

"So then what happened to you two? Why were you late today?" She asked again.

"On our way coming, we were captured by some men. They asked us questions about you but we told them, we don't know where you are since we didn't meet you at home the day we decided to visit you." Julian responded.

Luna shifted uncomfortably. Those men really want her and now they are going to gt her through her friends.

"They are so dangerous, just looking at them." Nancy added.

"What did they do after that?" She questioned.

"Nothing, they returned us back and here we are." Julian answered.

'What if the men already set a tracking device on their body. She widened her eyes at the thought of that. 

Nancy could see her expression, the way she was staring at both her and Julian. 

"Hey! If it's what you're thinking right now, you should stop. I'm sure they didn't put anything on our body." Nancy tried to assure her that she's safe. 

The two checked their body to see if there's anything on their body that could betray their friend but they found nothing.

Luna calmed down a little. She didn't want her friends to get involved in this mess.

"Anyway, how did the men know you and what's your relationship with them?" Nancy questioned her.

She was silent at first and then, she spoke "It's a long story."

"Cut it short" Julian said almost immediately.

"I still can't tell you." Luna shook her head.

She can't let them know what going on? They might involve the police and that will put Drake's life in danger. She didn't want that.

"Fine, your wish. Why aren't you at home? Did you travel or something? And when i suspect anything wrong around you, i will call the police." Said Nancy.

"You don't have to call the police. I'm fine and good." Luna smiled to make them believe that she's doing good.

"Alright, your wish again. Let's go to the chocolate shop outside the school. We only have thirty minutes. Nancy licked her lips and marched forward.

"Well, I have to pack my books into my bags. I will meet you." Luna walked away from them.

"So, that means she's attending Green Gate College of Science?" Gerald smirked. He was backing the boys and smoking the hell out of the cigar in his mouth.

"Yes, sir" Rio nodded.

"I guess you kept the device at a good place." He finally turned to them, bent down to take the little remaining wine in his glass and drank all. "Get the boys ready and bring me the girl, today." He stated.

"That will be done today sir."

"Boss, about the man with the girl, we haven't seen him with her. He might have escaped or leave the girl alone." David spoke.

"Yeah, you can't catch him easily. He's one bad guy as you are seeing now. He's on a mission. I can see that. Get prepared every seconds, he might attack in any minutes." He warned them.

"We will do our best, boss" They bowed down their head and he waved his hands off to them.

"Nice one, Gerald" Drake's voice sent shivers to his bones. 

How the fück did he enter into the room? Gerald blinked at the human dragon sitting like a king on his huge chair in the room.

Luna and her friends where still having fun when a car screeched to a stop in front of the shop. Nancy was the first to look up and when she saw the men, she recognized them almost immediately. Especially their car. She tapped Julian and pointed outside for him to see.

"Are they not the men that captured us earlier this morning?" Julian asked Nancy.

Luna spilled her drink at the question and looked up. The men! 

How will she escape? The only way to come out is the door except if they have a back door.

She grabbed her bag immediately and walked towards the door but they were already coming for her through that door too. She stopped for a second and turned. Luna started running back towards anywhere that has a way. 

"The rings?! The rings?" She exclaimed. It was so good that Drake left her with this. Her only way now was how she's going to use it now that the men will get her in no time with her short legs.
