Chapter 15
"We don't know yet. What if it doesn't reflect immediately." Alina sounded worried again.
"Do we even have hope of leaving here soon?" Brian scoffed seeing how worried Alina was. "We are going to die here anyways. So, if she dies, just know that, that's the simplest way of leaving this cruel place." He added.
"Just shut up." Alina snapped and glared at him. "It you who's going to die here. We are leaving this place very soon and you will surely see. You will be surprised."
"Like you have a date we are going to escape. Or you have a plan. You will be dead if you just step out that cage." Brian said.
"I will kill you when we are out of here. Mark my words."
"Hmm....give your sister the drug before she dies in your hands and pray that it isn't poisonous." Said Brian.
"Thank you, big head." Alina rolled her eyes and turned to her sister. "Aine, please stand up a little and drink this." She whispered softly.
Aine got up and drank the content in the bottle and sighed heavily.
"Are you getting any better?" The twins' father asked.
"Dad, the liquid can't just work like that. Not all drugs work immediately." Said Alina
"I feel sleepy." Aine whispered.
"I think it going to work. Come on sleep and don't make us worry okay? Wake up so soon." Alina helped her lay her back on the cold floor and she closed her eyes to sleep.
"You're caring." Brian blurted.
"Thank you. I can't believe you can complement someone after being rude to that same person. Tsk! Tsk! You're unbelievable!" Replied Alina.
"Thank you for telling me that too. You're quite rude too."
"I'm not! I only replied that way because you started it."
"What's your name?" Brian asked.
"Wait! You mean since all these years we've been here, you still don't know my name? Even when we are still at the Dracan Empire? I told you that you're unbelievable! I should hit you on the head."
Alina snorted and folded her arms looking at the other side where some dragons are talking too while some were just looking. Some were already sleeping.
Her father was still eating his food slowly.
Just wish we get out of here so soon.
"As you can see, almost everyone is minding her or his own business. Sorry if I don't know your name but that's it." Brian smirked.
"Well, I'm Alina and that's my twin sister, Aine and my father, Donald and I have a mom, Alice and elder brother, Drake." She smiled, remembering her caring brother.
"Wow! But...but I don't see the remaining two people here. Your mom and brother. Did they die?" Brian asked, clueless.
"No! They were lucky not to be captured. It a relief that I still have my family out there surviving really good I think" Alina smiled again.
"Well, I'm alone. No family. My mom died In those criminals' hands. You're still lucky."Brian breathed out.
"I actually saw when those damn people took your mom. I'm sorry for your loss." Alina tried to sympathize with him.
Brian chuckled and waved his hands off.
"You don't have to pity me. Im just getting over it but I'm okay and doing fine. But I will surely take revenge." He clenched his hands to a fist.
"Everyone will like to take revenge. I just hope someone come to rescue us"
**************
Luna woke up from the small bed in the room and yawned.
Oh God! It morning already?! Today's Monday already?! I hate Mondays. Her exams!
Jesus she didn't get to even read her books.
She got down from the bed immediately and looked for Drake but couldn't find him.
"Where the hell did he go now?" She groaned still lookin fr him until she saw him just coming from the blue water with fishes in his hands.
"Jeez! What the hell!" She chuckled and shook his head.
"Good morning!" He grinned looking wet and full of energy.
"Good morning, Drake. I was starting to look for you. We having fish for breakfast?" She asked when she already know that.
"Yes. How's your sleep? Did you dream of me?" He teased as he led her away.
"Humph!!! Dream of you? I don't think so. I didnt even remember you in my dream." Luna scoffed and collected the fishes from Drake while Drake start to make fire with the sticks he was able to gather.
"Alright! I don't need you to dream of me. You will fall in love with me if you do that." He said with a serious face.
"Huh? You're kidding right?" Her eyes widened.
"Joking." Drake laughed and seeing how relieved Luna was, he just shook his head with a smile.
"When did you get up to do all this? I mean gather the sticks and everything. You should have woken me up to help you with it." Luna said.
"I didn't want to wake you up. When is your exam? You said it this week right?"
"Today. I didn't get to read, you know. I have my paper by 10am. And this is......" She realized her phone isn't with her. F*ck! "Whatever the time is, I must get there before the exam start."
"Don't worry about that. I will make you write your exams." Drake assured her and then immediately there was a big spark from the stones and it turned fire as Drake brought it closer to the dried grass that has been packed together in a big way.
"I trust you." Luna gave him the fishes to start making breakfast. "It looks like we are having a vacation here. It made me remember this TV show. Uhmm....yes, Australian Survivor. That's it. It certainly looks like this. Getting to survive on your own and with people in an unknown place. Something like that."
"I guess this island has been abandoned. I don't see a single human here." Drake looked around.
It even better with no one here.
"Maybe they are yet to come or they are looking for someone to buy it." She shrugged.
"Go take your bath, we are leaving after this while I look for Gerald." He shocked her.
"You're going to look for that man? Isn't he the one who wanted to captu......"
"I know. I'm only going there to know.his plans. I will be fine." He assured and Luna nodded.
"Just don't get caught." She warned him.
