Chapter 3

West

     I walk away cause I don’t want her to find out that i feel the same, i’ve been in love with her for far to long, that’s why del and i didn’t work out, cause i was to wrapped up in thoughts of Kandie, Del caught me drawing of Kandie one night when i thought she was asleep so i ran to the bathroom, just to come back with her scrolling through my sketchbook.

     “What is this?”Del asks looking threw my sketchbook “The woman I’m madly in love with but she’s so wrapped up in her own world I fear I’ll never be with her, and Del I understand if you’d no longer like to be with me, but please don’t tell her.” I ask hurriedly  “Oh and why is that, why don’t you want her to know?” “because I don’t want her to run and think i’m a freak?” i say with a sigh “well you’re a freak if you don’t tell her, and you just continue to draw my best friend behind our backs, did you really think i wouldn’t find out you were trying to get into our friend group by dating one of her best friends then ditching us just to be with her?” she yells  “I just did it to see what kind of person she was before I made any rash decisions” “West? why didn’t you just ask us, we would have told you but instead you played with our hearts?” she says crying “I know I was a fool for that, but I really need your help?” “Fine, I’ll help you, but this is the end” “Okay Im sorry del i shouldn’t have done that.” 

Kandie

    I can’t just let him walk away. “West” He only looks back with the saddest eyes ‘is he crying’ i run to him and wipe away the tears, i look into his eyes, “West i love you, i have for way to long it tore me to pieces when i saw you and del together,” i now have tears in my eyes as i turn away he grabs my hand. “Kandie? I love you. I have for far too long and damn it i should have just told you, when i knew for sure, when i’d stay up all night drawing you, in the finest little details. Kandie, I'm in love with you.” I kiss him fiercely. 

West

    I kiss her back feeling electric like new energy has arisen from me. I love the feeling, I kiss her till we are both gasping for air, and laughing so hard. When she smiles and looks into my eyes I know she’s about to say something that’s gonna change for the both of us.
