Chapter 4

Kandie

    “So I'm yours?” I ask “You are mine. Am I yours?” he says with a smile “I am yours as you are mine.”  “Perfect”

West

     I pick her up and spin her around and she laughs this beautiful and wonderful laugh that makes my soul smile. She's got a sparkle in her eyes that I haven't seen since her parents got killed.

Kandie

     He makes my soul smile. I lean down still in his arms, and kiss him, he pushes my hair back from my face and puts his hand on the back of my neck to pull my face closer to his. I wrap my legs around him, and he smiles. “Oh now you’re really gonna be stuck with me” I laugh softly “Oh no what will i ever do?” I laugh even more when I say that “you’re so cute” he laughs and it makes me laugh more so. 

West

    I love hearing her laugh. I haven't heard that in a very long time. It makes me happy knowing I can make her laugh and not her fake giggle I hear far too often around everyone else. I finally put her down, when I hear the dismissal bell, “park?” “Home.” “are you that tired?” she only nods. “Okay then i will- Oh my god Kandie I’m sorry yes i will take you home. Do you want me to stay with you?” she nods again. Today is the anniversary date of her parents. I can’t believe i was so stupid to forget, i was just so happy that i finaly got her that i completely forgot how bad of a day it is for her. 

Kandie

        I can barely breathe. I know today is gonna be a rough day, I can feel it, this always happens to me every time, but I know it’s him I can feel it. We get to my house and I go to my room and lay down. “West, can you lay with me?” “yes” i feel it coming, another flashback into the past. It’s just the question of what life time is coming. ‘They said if he’s the right one all he has to do is hold me and they will go away, and that he would do it without thinking about it.
