It was already wee hours after Charlie and Dani’s intimacy. When Charlie woke up in the morning, he saw the sun rising through the window and immediately got out of bed. He was in such a hurry that he put his clothes on without taking a shower.
Dani opened her eyes in a daze. Seeing how anxious he was, she said, "No rush. It’s only seven o'clock."
"It’s already seven o'clock!" Charlie said worriedly while putting his jacket on and running out with his shoes in his hands, "I'll get our men to go down the slope and search around again. We’re dead if Blake and Lola have come up from the bottom of the slope." He started regretting wasting too much time on Dani last night. He had wanted to set out earlier, but now he could only pray that Blake and Lola were still in the woods.
