Except for Tyler, no one had ever hit Dani. She had never thought that she would be slapped by Charlie one day. As Charlie exerted so much strength, her cheek was swollen a short while later. A trace of blood oozed out from the corner of her mouth and a slight movement of her lips made her gasp in pain.
