Chapter 1:

Amanda’s POV:
I yawn as I listen to the teacher talk about boring s**t. I look towards the clock and see it’s only 1 minute until home time. As soon as the bell rang I jumped up and grabbed my book and ran out of class. I ran straight to my locker I placed the pin in and threw my book inside. I then ran to my car unlocking it and jumped in and drove home. Once I got home I unlocked the door and walked in to see my lovely parents all dressed up. “Where are you two going?” I ask. “Well, honey your farther and I are going on a date so may your please look after the kids?” My mothers angelic voice asked. “Sure.” I simply replied. After that I ran upstairs to see my little sister crying I picked her up and cradled her. With my sister in my arms I walked downstairs to say good bye to my parents. “Have a good time I love you.” I said kissing both of my parents on the cheek. “Bye sweeties we love you.” Both my parents say to all of us giving us all a kiss on the forehead. Once they walked out the door I locked it. I walked over to where my brother ran off to. “Hey, Corey what are you playing with?” I ask my brother. “Sissy come play with me.” Corey said excited. “Sure, hon but let me just grab my phone okay.” I say to which he nods at. I went and grabbed my phone and came back over to Corey. I placed Bella on the play mate and sat down with Corey. After about an hour of playing monster trucks I picked Bella up and walked towards the kitchen I placed Bella carefully in the bouncer and started making dinner. “Corey sweetie.” I said from the kitchen to which Corey came running in. “Dinners ready.” I say he runs over towards the table and sits down. I carry the food to him and then walked back to grab Bella and everything else. Once dinner was done for both Bella and Corey I cleaned up and got the bath ready. I placed Corey in the bath tub first and washed him. Soon enough he was cleaned I dried him off and dressed him. I cleaned out the bath tub and grabbed the baby bath tub and filled it up with warm water once the baby bath was ready I undressed Bella and placed her gentle in the tub I washed her making sure her head didn’t go under. After Bella was clean I dried her off and changed her. I then carried her downstairs and into the kitchen. I made two bottles and grabbed two dummies. Once I had the bottles and dummies I carried Bella to the crib and placed her gentle in I gave her the bottle and tucked her in with a kiss on the forehead I turned the baby monitor on and walked out. I then put Corey to bed once he fell asleep I relaxed for a bit. After about an hour I got up and went for a shower. After showering I fell asleep.

The next morning.
I woke up to Bella and Corey crying so I got up and went to Bella’s room I grabbed her out and walked to Corey’s room. Since today was Friday I didn’t have to be early but, I still had to go to school today even if I have to be late. I grabbed Corey out of bed and walked downstairs. I placed Bella in the bouncer. I didn’t see mum and dad’s keys in the key bowl weird. I walked into the kitchen and made another bottle for Bella since Corey only has 1 at night and sometimes 1 during the day two. Once the bottle was ready I picked Bella up and cradled her while she drank. After Bella finished I burped her and placed her back in the bouncer. I started making breakfast once breakfast was done I set the table up. Corey and I ate. Soon enough we were both finished. I was doing the dishes when a knock on the door was heard Bella started Crying so I picked her up and carried her to the door once I opened it there were two police man standing there with a pained expression. “Hello Police officers how may I help you?” I ask politely. “Ms. James were sorry two say this, but your parents died last night in a car crash.” One of the officers said. I stood there frozen. “W… what?” I ask I had tears running down my face. Bella started crying again and so did I. I bounced side to side standing still with Bella in my arms whispering. “It’s okay it’s going to be okay.” “Ma’am we were told that your able to decide if you would like to look after you siblings or put them in a system.” The other officer said. “Keep them please.” I say. After that they left leaving me sad. I walked inside after locking the door. I walked up to Corey and placed Bella in the bouncer. I sat down on the couch crying soon Corey ran over. “Sissy what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Corey asked worried. I picked him up and sat him in my lap. “Corey sweetie I have some bad news mummy and daddy have gone to heaven they left us.” I said trying to make him understand. “So, they aren’t coming home?” He questioned. “No, sweetie there not.” I say. After about 10 minutes I check my phone to see a lot of miss calls and messages from my friends. I get ready for school. And got Bella and Corey ready two. Once I got Bella’s bottles and food ready I grabbed my keys and got my car ready. I placed Corey in his seat and Bella in hers. I put the pram in my car. Once everything that I needed for the day was in I made sure the house door was locked.

Now your probably thinking why is she going to school when her parents just died? Well she wants to keep her mind off of her parents as long as she cans so she went to school cause also she knows her parents want her to succeed with her education. Anyway tell me how you thought of this chapter.
