Chapter 2:

Amanda’s POV:

After the house door was definitely locked I drove to Corey’s kindergarten. Once I dropped Corey off I drove to my school. Class hasn’t started yet. Once I got there I parked the car and got out. I grabbed Bella out carefully. Soon my friends where running over and I was crushed into a huge hug. “Where so sorry Amanda.” Sarah said. I gave her a weak smile. It must have been on the news. I then gave them a polite look. “Guys can we do this later I have to go to the principals office.” I say they all nod. I carry Bella to the office. Once I got inside everyone kept apologising and it got annoying I hate when people pity me. After I finally made it in to the office I got told the principals ready to see me, so I carried Bella into the room. The principal and I spoke, and he agreed to let me have Bella from now on. See the principal was friends with my farther so he let it happen. After I left the office I walked back out towards my car I got Bella’s carrier out and bag. I placed Bella in the carrier and placed the bag on my back. I then walked to class. My first period was boring everything the teacher said I already knew. Once the bell rang for 2nd period I walked to my locker grabbed out my books and walked to my next class. Once I walked through the door I sat in my normal seat next to my two friends. “Babe if you ever need any help call us.” Sarah said. See Sarah and Macey are my two girl bets friends. Whereas Mitch and Tyson are my guy vest friends. The other guys are just my friends. After a minute the teacher walked through the door. That call went exactly like the first one ‘BORING!’ Once the bell rang Bella started crying so I picked her up our of the carrier. Tyson carried it for me while I had Bella. Once we got to the cafeteria I grabbed my lunch and walked to my normal table I sat down and feed Bella a yoghurt and then cleaned her face up. I then gave her the bottle I tried to keep myself occupied so I don’t think about my parents. Once Bella fell asleep I started eating. I stayed quiet most of the time. Once lunch was over nothing to important happened. Once the last bell rang for home rime went off I walked to the car and put Bella in. I then drove off to Corey’s kindergarten. Once I got him I drove home. Once we got home I got a call. So, I answered it. “Death Angel you have a match tonight.” The guy on the other side said. He only calls me that when his around others. Otherwise he calls me Amanda he knows me personally since he knew my parents. “Okay thank you.” I say and cut the line. Yes, I do illegal street fighting I have since grade 7 I just love it so much. And I know its going to help me let out my emotions now. I put Bella down on the play mat and Corey is also playing with his monster trucks. A knock on the door is heard. I walk towards the door I open it. On the other side is two police officers and the lawyer. “Hello… Can I help you?” I ask. “Sweetie we need to talk may we please come inside?” The lawyer asked. “Sure, come on in.” I say. They walk in and I shut the door. I walk towards the kitchen and they follow. They sit down at the table and so do i. “What’s going on?” I ask. “Amanda I have come here with the will and a letter from your parents.” The lawyer says. I nod knowing there’s tears in my eyes. The guy passes ne the letter I read it and I cry even more. After I finished reading the letter the man reads the will. “Your parents said that the money and the house is yours and your siblings but mainly yours.” The lawyer said after a few more minutes the lawyer finished, and they all left. Once they left I placed the letter on the bench and started making dinner. Once I finished I dished it out Corey ate, and I barely did. Bella was tired so I bathed her after feeding her. I then put her to bed once she fell asleep I played with Corey for a bit, once it was his bedtime I bathed him and put him down to bed two. I called a friend of mine that is out of school and also does illegal street fighting. She is babysitting Bella and Corey tonight see her name is Gracey but in the fighting arena its’ Blood slayer. We’ve done duo fights together she’s one of my best friends in that place. Once she got to my house, I thanked her and left. Once I got to the destination I jumped out and walked inside. With only my eye mask on I walked up to Stephen. “Stephen my main men.” I say. “Death Angel. I’m sorry about your loss.” Stephen said. I just gave him a sad smile and got ready once my name was called out I got onto the ring. My opponent was a female higher than me. I looked at her and once the ref blew the whistle to start we started in a matter of seconds I had the girl under me and soon I won. After that match I had one more and it happened again I won. After the last match I collect my money and left. Once I got back home I tried to pay Gracey, but she wouldn’t take it. She left so I went for a shower. After that I laid down and tried to sleep. Key word ‘tried’. I kept tossing and turning. “Why mum? Why dad? Why did you leave us it hurts so much you were our rocks and now your gone and I have to look after Corey and Bella. They need you. I need you.” I said while crying.
