8. Aaron

Coming back to pack grounds, we quickly got their system up and running with my sensors, and then I went and had lunch with Beta Luke and some of his warriors. We filled them in on the campsite, motion sensors and how and where to do extra patrol for the time being, at least till we figure out, what's going on out there. 

I went back to the office building and got a shower, and at exactly 1300 hours, I knock on Alpha Brandon's door. 

"Come in" I heard Alpha Brandon call. 

Entering, I saw Alpha Brandon sitting at his desk and my father in one of the two chairs across from him. It has a big office, the desk was in the middle of the room, he had a window behind him, book shelves along the wall to his left, and a couch area on his right

"Please sit Alpha-son Aaron" Alpha Brandon pointed to the chair next to my dad.

"I am just going to come right out and say this", Alpha Brandon started, "We have lost a few days , with the rouge attack and you being call off to work and I know that you need to return home soon to the birth of you nephew and your grandpup, he nodded to my father and I.  

"Well, Alpha-son Aaron, your father and I have been talking, and I have a offer for you, he continued. 

"and as you know, I have known your father ever since Alpha fighting camp, and there fore already consider you and your family, as allies, and as you know, I have seven daughters, and only two of them have found their mate. Alba has found an omega and Lauren is going to be mated to my newly obtained Beta Luke on Saturday at the full moon ceremony, I can´t be more thrilled, that they get to experience the fated mating bond, and I do hope all of my daughters get that experience. 

that said, this officially means that I do not have anyone qualified to take over my position as Alpha. I am getting old, and would like to retire soon, and spend my senior years with my Luna, enjoying life and maybe some grand-puppies in the near future.  

Therefore, I would like you to consider, mating one of my daughters and become Alpha of this pack". 

"Excuse me", I said in total shock, looking back and forth between my dad and Alpha Brandon. 

My father looking at his shoes, knowing full well, that I would be pissed.

" Well, I can´t  just give you the position" Alpha Brandon stated. "My bloodline has to be involved. I know from your father that you are more then capable of being Alpha. 

"That's because I am an Alpha" I stood so that Alpha Brandon could feel my Alpha power, But I kept my eyes on my dad. 

"you are what?" Alpha Brandon look puzzled, now also looing at my dad.

"Yes, After my brother took my fathers position as Alpha three years ago, I spend most of my time in the city. I started at security company, hired functional rouge, trained them and within the last year, we have formed it into a pack. The Clear Water Pack. I have about a two hundred and sixty pack members, and growing" I explained. "I can´t come and take over you pack, my father knows this"

"First of all, I though about that, my father finally joint the conversation, and I have already spoking to you brother about this and he agrees. We are going to merge The Clear Water Pack with The Black Mountain Pack.  

"I am sorry what?" I am shell shock right now. "You made plans about my pack?"

"Aaron, listen to me" My father started. "The city is just outside the Black Mountain Pack ground, there isn't anything in between other than road and forest fields, which make it easy to connect the two and make the Black Mountain Pack bigger and become one of the larges packs in the states, and with you here in the White Valley Pack, we become even bigger.

And second of all", he went on. "You have been waiting a long time to find your mate, too long if you ask me, and I am sorry son, she might not be out there, so a very logic way to continue on in life, is to find a girl and choose her as your mate. Choose her as you Luna. Choose one of Alpha Brandon's daughters as your mate and become Alpha of the White Valley Pack." 

"You have figured it all out haven't you? I sat down with a surrendering attitude, "and what makes you think that I would go along with this?" I asked.

My father turned his chair toward me, "hear what I am saying, its a two for one deal here Aaron. you get the girl and the power.

"but I already have the power I said, and I can properly get any girl I want, but I would like that girl to be my real mate", If you get what I am saying, I was raised to believe in mates and not settling"

"But just for the fun of it, which daughters are we talking about", I smirked. 

"Well, Alpha Brandon started, I can see, that he knows that their big plan is falling apart real quickly now.

 "There is Gabby, my oldest and most educated to become Luna, she is administrating all the legal and finical things of the pack. and I know for a fact that she wants puppies,  He smiled.

And then there´s Hadley, one of the twins. She´s is becoming a designer or event planner soon I can´t keep up with her,  She has made some of the dresses for the full moon ceremony. And I know that she already call deps on you, so there isn't going to be a problem there.

"Problem?" I asked. "you talked to them about it?

"Well, My Luna told the girls about it this morning, and they were all very excited". he said with a proud smile. 

"all of them" I asked " 

"yes well, Malena, is also looking for a mate, she is working in the daycare facility, so you know, she likes puppies" he stated 

"why are you mentioning puppies all the time?"  I was kind of afraid to ask. I am getting hot, and my hands are getting sweaty, so I try to dry them off in my pants. 

"I want grand puppies, what can I say", he declared 

"and what about that blond daughter for yours, can I pick her", I smiled 

"NO", he shouted, "Pearl is not in the mix of girls, you can pick from, she is to stay single and untouched, so that her powers can stay pure. 

"but I have a thing for blond women" I said, knowing very well, that he would get pissed. She´s my mate, and I had to try and fight for her, without him knowing it. I was not going to reject her, or worse reject her and then mate with one of her sisters and become her Alpha, that's just messed up.

Alpha Brandon was out of his chair, before I could wipe that smile of my face. He leaned over his desk, 

"YOU ARE NOT TO TOUCH HER, SHE IS OFF LIMITS" He shouted using his Alpha voice.  Luckily his Alpha voice doesn't work on me, but I will admit, I felt it. 

"okay then" I said, " I can choose between, Gabby, Hadley and Malena" 

"Yes, those are the options, He sat back now. 

"okay, but I have to say something and I mean no disrespect, sir", I can choose Malena, who couldn't even look me in the eye, when you introduced her, How I am going to have a conversation with her, mark and mate with her, when she is to shy to even say hey". I can see Alpha Brandon haven't though about that.

"and Hadley, she is going to financially ruin me, with those designer dresses, hair extension, nails and what else a high maintains girl gets done. " He nodded in approval, sinking further down in his seat .  

"and that leaves Gabby, whom I think has worked hard to prove that she is capable of being a Luna, and would do anything to become it." He nodded again. He had a worries look on his face. "and will she be okay, with one of her sisters becomes Luna of this pack?"

"will you think about it? he asked. " we would have liked you have marked one of the girls this Saturday at the ceremony, however I think it can wait a little longer. You should at least get to know the girls a little better, before you make you decision. how about tonight at dinner, we all sit down and talk and get to know one another.

"dinner tonight" I said, showing my hand up in submissions.

I left the meeting around three totally confused, hurt and pissed off.
