Since Damon began to use those uncongenial words on Amelia, she felt like the ground should just open and swallow her. But that was not happening.
“Please, can I go?”
Amelia pleaded because she's known that Damon wants to ruin her day.
She reiterated her pleas twice more, but Damon didn't reply to her. She began to look for faults in her dressing again. Gradually, tears began to form in her eyes. She waited for Damon's response, but that wasn't coming. Instead, Damon focused strictly on the book he was reading. Turning from one page to the other as though he weren't reading but checking something, with immense seriousness written all over his face.
“Who told you to sit?”
Damon screamed as he saw Amelia slowly perching on the chair since she was tired of standing. Hot tears dropped from Amelia's eyes as she hurriedly stood up in response to Damon's command.
'If I'm supposed to die here, my prudence can't prevent it. If I'm supposed to survive this, my intransigence can't prevent it.
She mumbles to herself while tears were about to enter her mouth, and then she began to move towards the door.
“What did you say?”
Damon asked while trying to know the unclear words she muttered.
“I said that a killer is always a killer. I can only live or die.” Amelia roared as she turned toward Damon. She left her cool and was ready for whatever might be the consequences of her action. The brokenness of her voice was enough evidence that the words were forced out of her unimaginable mood.
Her words and action startled Damon that he could neither utter more words to her nor take his eyes off her direction. His mouth was left open for a few seconds before he recollected himself and force-closed it. Amelia already left his office and hurried into her room. All the guards she met on her way realized that there was a fire on the mountain, but none of them could ask her any questions. Instead, they were dodging her. The bodyguard she once asked for help saw her hurrying into her room angrily, but couldn't do anything since his duty post wasn't closer to her apartment. From the way he looked, he was a bit concerned, but since the house is being monitored with a CCTV camera, he dare not act without command, so he won't be fired.
As Amelia got into the room, she collapsed into the mattress while seriously sobbing. She couldn't control her body and was shivering. She lay helpless crying out an ocean of tears.
However, in a few minutes, Damon met with his bodyguard, the one that Amelia once asked for help while he was standing, and then he ordered…
Tyler, follow me!
Immediately, he turned and followed him. He took Tyler into the security room, where they had a wide screen for monitoring everything that was happening in the mansion. He ordered him to be in charge until he returns. Furthermore, he gave him a few pictures and cautioned him not to allow them entrance to the compound. Tyler collected the pictures from him, and then Damon left the security room. Tyler called the interest of all the security personnel in the security room and showed them the pictures while repeating the same command of their master that such people are not permitted to enter their abode, then they all returned to duty.

Danciana's mother could be seen as she came out of their house with two of her bodyguards. The bodyguards were dressed in black suits with black shoes, then red ties. They crowned it with a black hat. Danciana's mum was also dressed in a flare white gown that barely reached her ankle. From her knees down, the gown was transparent. She carried a designer purse that correlated her cloth color with that of her black shoes. She also wore a white hat while adorning herself with makeup. Just as they were standing in front of the house, the driver parked in front of them, and one of the bodyguards pulled open the door, then Danciana's mother stepped in. One of the bodyguards sat with her in the back seat, while the other joined the driver in front of the car. Danciana's mother maintained an expressionless face as they drove out of the compound. But in her quietness, a conclusion can be made that something was eating her up. The car was in total silence as they journeyed until the driver turned on his car radio.
“Turn it off”
She ordered. The driver made no mistake in the choice of a button he pressed as he moved his hand toward the radio. They restored quietness in their car without further question or discussion.
The driver halted as they arrived at Damon's father's compound.
“Guys, we're not here for business as usual. All eyes on the ball.” Danciana's mother said. She then turned to the bodyguard that was seated next to her and said;
“Dylan, you'll follow any step I make. Say nothing. Smile to no one. You're here strictly for a different business.”
“Yes, ma'am!”
Dylan replied while acting his response.
“Driver, both of you should remain here. Guy, All your focus is on your radio. Keep the guns ready”
Dylan instructed.
“Shall we?” He questioned Danciana's mother, who already grasped her purse. She didn't give Dylan any response but inserted her hand in her purse and then brought out a gun from it. She c****d It and then returned it gently to the purse. Then, she turned to Dylan and nodded in acceptance of his request. Dylan alighted and then opened the door for Danciana's mother to get down. Majestically, she alighted while taking down her legs one after the other.

Damon's father was squatting before a small Butsuda he prepared in his home when one of his guards hurried in.
As he heard footsteps in the room, he raised his left hand, signaling the intruder to keep shut.
“Madam Rawn is here”
The guard muttered, not minding the signal from his boss. The boss continued holding his left hand up, and the guard left him there.
The guard went and welcomed Danciana's mum and her bodyguard. He took them into the sitting room where he asked them to be comortable, so that Damon's father would join them shortly. Danciana's mum got moody but sat comfortably while Dylan stood beside her holding his arms together. To keep them company, the guard joined them and sat down there.
He looked around and trekked to the shelf where they do keep drinks. He brought out a bottle of wine and three glasses. He poured some drinks into the first cup as he approached Danciana's and stretched his hand to give it to her. Her gaze left the cup and focused on the guard's forehead.
“Sorry Ma'am”
The guard whimpered and held back his glass of wine. He emptied it in his mouth and returned everything to where he picked them.
Just in a few minutes, Damon's father was seen as he trekked down the stairs gently faking a smile, since it couldn't exceed her facial expression.
