The Monkey Face Youth

The monkey face youth was within the crowds of people who were discussing matters about Jia Lin, such matters were whether it be that he was a core disciple of South Wind Martial School or whether they had seen him somewhere before or not. Some say that they had while the monkey face youth simple just outright disrespected Jia Lin right there and then, the expression on his face was hideous. Earlier he had seen Jia Lin meditating on the gray compass with the headmaster and the rest of the elders but he had thought that he must've gotten himself injured or something, due to the fact that he seemed to be weak and his face was somewhat pale.

But now when he looked at him, he could now see that his assumptions were wrong and that maybe this little bastard must be trying to suck up to the elders and headmaster. The pale face youth walked up towards the monkey face youth with a weird look in his eyes, he said nothing for his eyes only looked at Zin Len, Kan Shar, and Nix who had an elder standing over them while also helping them to cultivate at an alarming rate.

While the elders were using their cultivation bases to set the defensive formation into full rotation, they came to notice that the massive gray compass was floating back down to the ground. The head master's face was calm but his eyes gave away his shock and surprise, Wong Gi was meditating and the boy beside him had suddenly broken through. Though they were shocked about the Devouring force that was endless sucking away all of the profound Qi within the atmosphere, they were still thinking about their own disciples and the fact that this boy was a monster that could surpass their own if they weren't careful.

As they watched the compass nearing the ground, they all came to the conclusion that the situation up in the sky must've been taken care of by headmaster Qin Long and Wong Gi. So without wasting any time, they returned back to their respected disciples. After confirming that everything was OK, the elders then waved their hands in the air, manipulating the rest of the remaining Profound Qi and letting it enter into their own disciple's bodies.

"Hey, get down here. Come and let me walk on you to death"

"Haha, seeking shelter from the headmaster and elders haha, you couldn't even make it past the movement test before getting injured. Haha what a waste" the monkey face youth was laughing like a mad man, from how he was laughing and talking, the crowds of people could tell that his mood was good and he truly hated each and every single bone in Jia Lin's body.

"Something is not right here," thought the pale face youth while looking around him, the wired expression on his face only grew more and more but he said nothing to the monkey face youth for he wanted to understand the general situation. Though these two youths were arrogant they weren't fools, the pale face youth then looked at Jia Lin for a while then suddenly his eyes went wide with shock, his jaws dropped as he unconsciously took a step back, his face getting paler than usual. The monkey face youth hadn't realized this situation with his friend, he just kept shooting hateful glares towards Jia Lin while also shouting and laughing.

All the elders looked over at him and then at Jia Lin who was smiling, the old lady Yin with her cold face looked at the monkey face youth while shaking her head. Jan smiled but said nothing and it was also at this time that elder Wong Gi opened his eyes and looked out at the monkey face youth as if he was sorry for him. The monkey face youth then stepped out and said!

"Headmaster, elders, how is it that he hadn't completed the movement test nor the strength test. I feel extremely wronged" the monkey youth put on a sorry face while looking at headmaster Qin Long and the rest of the elders who were standing beside their respected disciples. "I feel that it's unfair for him to be sucking up and not doing anything while making it into the school"

All eyes came to fall on Jia Lin who was standing on top of the gray compass, his eyes showed a desire to fight which he was doing his best to contain. The air around him grew chilly due to the cold temperature of the black mists within his meridians. The face of the headmaster and the elders flickered as they sensed the chilling aura in the air around Jia Lin, for some unknown reason, they were having a bad feeling that they couldn't shake. "This won't be good" Jan smiled towards the beautiful Zin Len who was now standing beside him. Due to the loud commotion, the other disciples that were now assigned to a master were also now awakened, the profound Qi in their bodies have reached a shocking level.

The strong energy undulations coming off their bodies showed that they only needed a little more time to Breakthrough. All eyes were now on them and the others were now wondering what had happened. "This is going to be bad," said the headmaster as he looked at the monkey face youth with a weird expression, Wong Gi shook his head while he turned to Jia Lin and said

"Don't hurt him, he might be of use to the school in the future. Though he's too full of himself, the young is as such after all" Wong Gi looked at Jia Lin with a pleased smile on his face, he knew how terrifying this dark horse of his was and he could sense that the monkey face youth also had some talent as well but to want to defeat this monster, he had to rethink things over, "Yes master" replied Jia Lin with a bow. The pale face youth's mind shook, Jia Lin was already strong, he had outdone Nix and also them and now he had broken through.

It was also at this point that Nix walked over to him, his energy sky rocking up from his previous level due to the amount of profound Qi his body had absorbed with the help of the old lady Yin. The Monkeyface youth was still laughing and talking when Nix said, "He has broken through. You aren't his match then nor can you hope to be it now" after finishing his sentence, Nix shook his head and walked book to stand beside the old lady Yin with a weird expression on his face. He looked at Jia Lin with a desire to do battle, even though he knew deep down that he wouldn't win, but he still wanted to test his strength.

The beautiful Zin Len looked at him in a strange way, so did the arrogant Kan Shar but he said nothing. He fully believed in himself and his inborn divine talents. The monkey face youth's body shook as he instantly stops talking, his eyes went wide with disbelief, he focused his attention on the undulations around Jia Lin and his jaw dropped. Previously, he had thought that even though Jia Lin was strong, given time he would be able to defeat him and clear away all the humiliation that he had caused him in the city of Muo. But now, roaring sounds filled his mind as he too stepped back as did the pale-faced youth.

"Haha look at my three boys. One is making huge improvements while the others not so much" chuckled Jia Lin as he looked over at Nix who was looking at him with a complicated expression. No one knew what he was thinking, only he himself knew about the great waves that were crashing around inside of his head at this moment. Black mists surged out of Jia Lin's meridians and shot towards his feet, he rose three inches off the ground and became a blur. The face of the monkey face youth flickered for a second but by then it was already too late, he felt a hand hitting him in the back of the head with enough force to crush a mountain.

The blur was too fast and the hand was too sudden and powerful, he had no time to react at all, nor could he even take back his arrogant words. The monkey face youth eyes rolled over in his head as he fell unconscious. Jia Lin looked down on him for a while before turning to look at the pale face youth who was backing up and then he also turned to look at Nix. His eyes burn with the desire for battle but he knew that starting from now, none of these people before him could be his match. His only hope of testing out his battle powers was the hidden geniuses that are endlessly cultivating with the martial school that he had yet to enter.
