Who Amongst You

"Brutal" elder Wong Gi shook his head while looking at the now unconscious monkey face youth. At first, he thought that Jia Lin would've simply just ignored him but when the monkey face youth kept calling him out, he had warned Jia Lin not to kill this youth. The reason why he did so was that the black mists that were filled with the aura of death, he knew for a fact that it was not just created by Jia Lin when he was breaking through but had escaped from out of him.

To him, for someone so young to have something like that inside of them, was truly frightening. The black mists were chilly and contained a monstrous killing intent the likes he had never felt before, thus he had a feeling that Jia Lin wasn't a person who would just sit back and let others stepped on him.

"Did you see that"

"A blur, he so fast"

"I didn't even see when he moved just now"

Great waves of excitement suddenly started to rain a muck in the crowds of people who were watching the events between Jia Lin and the monkey face youth. This was the second time that they have seen someone moved so fast before, the first was the youth from the Kan clan, Kan Shar who had inborn strength. Most persons here thought Kan Shar not only has inborn divine strength but also speed, but now they had seen someone with equally shocking speeds as him in the same day.

In all that they had seen today, from both the movement test, strength test, to Jia Lin and the monkey face youth, if the outside world of the city of Mumbai could see it, it would be extremely shocking.

"None of you here are a match for me. It's not that I'm being arrogant, I'm just letting all of you know" Jia Lin looked indifferent as he looked out at the crowds of people who were now looking at him with a strange face. "This son of mine had it coming, this he knew well. I'm not a monster but when I'm provoked I can be, he's not dead, just unconscious for now and will be able to participate in the upcoming combat test" with his last words, Jia Lin walked back to stand beside elder Wong Gi without a care in the world.

Nix, Zin Len, and Kan Shar look at Jia Lin with surprises on their face, they had seen how fast Kan Shar had moved towards the large gate during the strength test but now, they also found out that there was somebody else who was capable of doing the same thing. No one said anything for they knew that none of them here was his match but even still the will to fight still burned within their eyes, this is the will that allows a cultivator to be who they are, this is the fighting spirit that a martial warrior should possess if he/she wants to become strong.

"OK everyone, most of you here might have seen this person before while some may not. His name is Jia Lin, now a disciple of elder Wong Gi and the only heaven class warrior out of the first-year students" headmaster Qin Long's voice rang out in the ears of all the young contestants like a bolt of lightning. They were shocked and dumbfounded at the same time, no one knew why this kid had become the only heaven class student, after all, to them he hadn't even taken part in the examination. Though his cultivation realm might be high, yes but in time so will theirs, so why was he the only one chosen without the examination begin completed or how was he even chosen and hadn't even participated in the examination.

Upon Nix's face could be seen mixed feelings as well as Zin Len but she choose to keep silent because to her, the headmaster must have known what he was doing. The pale face youth put up a forced smile as he held the unconscious monkey face youth who was starting to show little signs of waking up, the whole crowd was thrown into on uproar, why was this youth the only one chosen amongst all of them.

The commoner faction said nothing towards what the headmaster had said but that wasn't the case for the noble faction of Muo city. Who amongst them hadn't been feed rare herbs and pills from the very first day they were born, who amongst them didn't hold monstrous pride and arrogance within them? When hearing what headmaster Qin Long had said, their bodies shook with hatred and disdain, who was this boy, he had no background, thus he was a nobody. He popped up out of nowhere but yet was the only heaven class student. No, this was not fair, to then they could not accept this even if they wanted to.

"Why is he the only heaven class student"

"I haven't even made it through to the combat test and yet I'm already out of the question"

"This is not fair. He hadn't even participated in the exams but he made it through before all of us who had"

Various shouts came from out of the crowds of people, they were in rage with what the headmaster had said so the noble youths shouted against it. Kan Shar had a twisted face as he looked a Jia Lin, he had inborn divine strength and yet he wasn't chosen either, he was the first to past the first and second test and yet wasn't chosen either, this he could not accept one bit. He stepped out of the crowds of people along with Nix who had a murderous air around him, Kan Shar was somewhat surprised when he saw him but Jia Lin wasn't.

"Sigh, the junior generation is as hot-blooded as always" elder Wong Gi smiled apologetically towards the other elders who were looking at him in a strange way. All the elders present knew why he was chosen but the others didn't, after all, they couldn't see the hidden screen formation in the sky nor had they known or felt the monstrous death aura in the black mists that came out of this boy's body.

"Though he is much stronger than I am, I want to test how much stronger he is. My heart of martial arts calls for it" Nix said with a calm face while looking Jia Lin straight in the eyes. The old lady Yin who was standing a few feet behind him smiled a cold smile which showed that she approved of how this young man followed his heart of martial arts to the very end even though he knows that he isn't a match for his opponent. These types of people though most of the time will put themselves into deep trouble, will archive great things in the future if allowed to grow.

Jia Lin looked over at him and said nothing, in his mind, he smiled warmly. Though this youth had a murderous air about him, he could tell that he was someone to truly admire. He followed his heart no matter what, even though he knows he will lose. Jia Lin nods at Nix, showing that he accepts his challenge but then he turns to the twisted face Kan Shar.

"And you are" questioned Jia Lin with cold eyes as if, if this person said the wrong things he would destroy him then and there, but he knew that he couldn't make a move seeing that the elder lady Yalan was a member of his clan.

Kan Shar turned to the headmaster without even once looking at Jia Lin who asked him a question. He bowed to Qin Long and said. "Headmaster, how comes he's the only one that has made it into heaven's class without even doing the examination. Isn't this a little bit unfair" though Kan Shar sounded like a junior talking to an elder, in his voice one could hear the nail-biting hatred he was holding back inside of him? Jia Lin looked at Jim with shining eyes and laughed out inside of his mind, he said nothing feather to Kan Shar and only turned and walked back to where elder Wong Gi was standing. The old lady elder Yalan wanted to stop her nephew, she hadn't thought that this child would be so foolish to go against such a future monster but what could she do now, after all, her nephew don't know the things she had seen earlier.

"His, talents are above everyone here. You have witnessed that for yourselves already, just take a look at that boy over there" Qin long point at the now recovering monkey face youth whose face was as white as a piece of paper. "Who amongst you could use one hand to hit a level 9 Saint realm warrior into unconsciousness while also reducing their power. Who amongst you can say you are his match"
