Shocking Speed

"Ha ha, if it isn't those three dogs" while Jia Lin was dashing up the mountain, up a head he saw Nix and his two companions and his good mood soured to the skies, while he punched out and mashed a incoming tree branch. The tree branch was thick and though it was broken by Jia Lin, it still took a lot out of him to do so.

"Good tree"

He praised in his heart. One had to know that Jia Lin's strength was shocking beyond all measures so if he praised a tree for it's sturdiness then that tree really deserved it's praise. Though the base of the mountain was a large forest that was filled with many different mystical things, one thing was for sure and that it was free from all kinds of profound beasts, this was so, because all of the profound beasts that were originally apart of the forest were all cleared out by the Masters of the Original South Wind Martial School that was on top of the mountain.

This was to ensure the safety of the new and old disciples when traveling up the mountain but even so, there was always an exception to all things. Behind the martial school was also a even larger forest and it's trees were black with fog coming out of the ground every now and then, inside, profound beasts of various types and levels could be found and their numbers were truly shocking. Due to this fact alone, the South Wind Martial School had setup of defensive, offensive and bordering formation to seal off the school from the black forest.

Only with sufficient qualifications and strength could one gain the approval of the elders and enter into the black forest for whatever means or purpose they had within. Most of the times, the school would even bring it's most out standing disciples to train inside, but with on elder acting as a protector. Thus when they do these kinds of training programs, only six students may enter into the black forest. Due to there only being six elders, only have six outstanding disciples would be allowed to enter under the protection of the elders thus the school would only have six outstanding disciples.

Jia Lin's speed wasn't one that was on pare with others of his generation, no it was much better than almost all of the participating students that were both on the marble road and in the forest. Each step he took would leave a c***k on the ground with the wind blowing on his face. 15 minutes had already passed and yet he was still far away from the half way mark on the mountain, which somewhat left him feeling a little frustrated but even so, he could not complain because he was the one who was trying to keep a low profile.

As he was running, he turned his head around with a little surprise because there he found the beautiful girl that he had passed a few moments ago suddenly catching up to him. Her movements were somewhat strange to Jia Lin thus it prove that she was using a movement skill that she had learnt before hand, maybe it was for this examination or maybe it was her person skill. While she was running across the ground, it suddenly broke apart underneath her jade like feet but even so with a shout she jumped over the broken ground and launched her self on a tree branch and continued her ascension up the mountain.

Just by looking at her made Jia Lin smile with admiration. She passed him with a big smile on her face and just by looking at her smiling face, one could tell that she was someone that one could easily get along with. "Oh so there's actually other friendly people in this place huh" Jia Lin also smiled back at the beauty that passed him but what Jia Lin didn't know was that when he had faced Nix and his minions, she was hidden within the crowds of people and saw everything that had happened.

To the her right now, Jia Lin's strength was something truly shocking for his young age and Cultivation base and with a little more resource and training, he might even be able to compare with the geniuses of the four great Sects, two Clans and four major factions. To a young lady as herself, this type of person was truly worth knowing, "Well I guess I need to finish this faster than expected" he thought to himself as he watched the young lady get feather and feather away from him.

Black Mists surge throughout his every limb, his meridians roared with power as the Mists surged and Condensed into his legs and was slowly begin released through his feet. His feet floated two inches off the ground and with a little push from Jia Lin, his body shot through the forest like a meteor. His body suddenly became a blur in the forest, his speed was truly shocking, one minute he was here and the next he was not, he had gone from the view of all those that were behind him.

"Did you see that just now. That guy just suddenly disappeared"

"No I didn't, maybe your just see things"

"He's so fast. Who's that guy"

Various talks came from behind Jia Lin when he suddenly disappeared from the views of the young martial artists behind him, no one really saw what really happened. First he was there and the next minute he wasn't but only a few persons saw that scene due to their Cultivations begin a little higher than others. Around Jia Lin's body, the air vibrated with energy undulations with small traces of black Mists in the air. His body felt lighter than a piece of paper blowing in the wind, and as he moved about, various obstacles would shoot out after sensing someone or something approaching but before they could even fully launch their attacks, Jia Lin had already passed them and was already miles away.

"Did you see that, this boy's speed is incredible. Even the hidden obstacles can't activate fast enough to stop him" shouted the green robe elder with shock and surprise. His eyes were now even wider than before because now he truly believed that Jia Lin had really looked at the hidden screen formation a few moments ago. "Good movements, very good movements" praised head master Qin Long with his eyes glued to the monitor before him, he too now fully also believed that Jia Lin had truly spotted the hidden formation screen in the air.

Although Jia Lin was moving pretty fast, his speed wasn't that fast to the point of escaping the eyes of these old bags of bones. As he moved along through the forest, shock was now evident in the eyes of the old elders that had looked down upon Jia Lin a few moments ago, Jia Lin was so young yet his abilities had surprisingly reached such a shocking degree. "Snort. So what, it's just a little movement ability that he must've picked up from some unknown place. Let's see how good his strength and combat abilities are, then you may give such praises" said one of the old women, judging by her tone, one could tell that she was also shocked at Jia Lin's movements but were unwilling to accept it.

This was because she was also of noble background thus she belonged to the noble faction of Muo city. And seeing a commoner child surpassing all the noble youths, this truly made her angry but she kept her anger well hide from sight but her tone could still tell it all. But unbeknownst to her was that she was seen through by head master Qin Long in the instant she had spoken but head master Qin Long only shook his head and said nothing.

Jia Lin was a black blur in the forest as he shot passed the beautiful girl who was known as Zin Len. As the blur passed her, she was shocked because in that exact moment that she saw the blur, it was already gone or should one say it was already miles in front of her and was already disappearing into the distance. "Who is that. To have that kind of speed is truly monstrous" she murmured before pushing her speed to the very limits but after awhile she found that her movement abilities was only so.

"She smells good ha ha" Jia Lin chuckled while dashing forwards, and what Zin Len didn't knew was that when Jia Lin was passing her, he had intentionally slowed down a little just to have a good look at her, that was why she was able to see a blur passing by her. "Ha ha now these three sons of mine Jia Lin. come to daddy" he checked once more as Nix and his minions came into his view, as the three heard the laugher they swiftly turned around, only to see a blur growing in there eyes.

Surging black Mists roared towards Jia Lin's right hand and with a furious punch, air currents in the form of massive wind waves shot out of his hand towards Nix, the monkey face and pale face youth with shocking brutality.
