Black Mists World

Jia Lin was like a blur in the desert as he shot towards the mystic forest, the air around him vibrated with Qi waves, his feet an off the ground, his body almost as light as a feather. As he shot off, the Qi beneath his feet started to get less and less and his speed also started to slow down as well. "I was beginning to wonder about that," he said while looking down on his feet, as he did, he began to draw in more pure Qi and sending it shooting towards his legs. After doing so, his speed shot back up once again but it was extremely difficult to draw in world Qi while moving at the speed that he was, it was three times more difficult. But still, he continued anyway, this was because to him, it was a form of training and nothing beats a good form of training. The more he learned the more he gained and the more he pushed his body to the limit, the stronger he would get. Large trees of the mystic forest came into Jia Lin's view, if one enters the forest from this angle, then they could instantly enter into the deeper regions in no time. At the front edges, Jia Lin couldn't sense little Demon's aura, thus the only possibility was that he had already gone into the deeper regions ahead of time. "Damm wolf" growled Jia Lin as he pushed off the ground and shot towards a tall treetop, this tree, though tall and thick, wasn't as thick as the one that he had built his treehouse on. And it was also at this time when Jia Lin entered back into the mystic forest that a strong and powerful aura locked onto his body, Jia Lin stopped in his tracks and bowed "Junior Jia Lin returns for three days to practice" the aura that locked onto Jia Lin's body was none other than Lin Fren's and before coming here, Jia Lin had also known that this would've happened. After a few breaths of time, the strong pressure of the aura that was locking onto his body faded away and he was once again free to move. "Sigh, this kid is really a headache" Lin Fren's voice could only be heard but he could not be seen, a wronged smile came upon Jia Lin's young face, he dashed into the forest, chuckling in his heart about what Lin Fren had said. Very soon he came to a clearing in the forest that only had one tree in the middle, this tree wasn't too tall nor was it too short either, one could only say that this tree was just the right size for someone to sit down and practice under. He rushed up towards the tree with blinding speed, the breeze blew across his face, calming every cell in his body. "Where his that wolf anyways. If he thinks that I'm going to come looking for him, he better think twice" seeing that Little Demon hadn't yet returned, Jia Lin's great mood was taking a turn for the worse. "No matter, I have better things to do than worry about him right now" the tree that Jia Lin was under had a greyish brown color, and just by looking at this tree one could tell that it was very sturdy and strong. At one point even, Jia Lin thought that this tree was made out of soft iron or steel, after all this mystic forest was created by Lin Fren who was a mysterious expert of the martial way. Jia Lin sat down legged and closed his eyes to meditate, everything that was around him became silent, his mind was calm and his breathing rate was even. Every cell in his body moved as one, his heartbeat was calm and collected, each and every single thing was calm. Jia Lin's mind drifted away into a black world that was made up of black mists, the mists were cold to the touch, and just be looking at it, one would feel as if their minds were falling apart. Inside the mists, he could sense an aura of death and a murderous intent that was beyond anything he had ever felt in his two lives. "What a strong killing intent," thought Jia Lin as his consciousness floated down into the black mists world, "what is this place" he murmured as his body touched down, his feet felt as if they were standing on freezing ice that could turn his body into a block of ice at any moment. Black mists turned and swayed about as if it had a mind of its own, inside cold air surged on roared and the mists itself was even more biting cold than the air. "His this the mists that came into my body in the mists trials, but wait, wasn't the mists white, when did it turn black" when Jia Lin was in the mists trials grounds, doing his trial by fire, he had unknowingly absorbed the mists that was inside the mists world but because his mind was too focused on the task at hand, while also focusing on fusing his monarch, eternal and vessel character into his divine character he hadn't realized that the pure white mists that were the mists world had turn full black and entered into his body. "Maybe it as something to do with my martial path," thought Jia Lin as he pondered on the situation. "Black Gods Divine Way. Its the first time that I'm coming across such a path and I've been traveling time for hundreds of years and yet this black God's way is still new to me" the black mists in the world of his consciousness continued to sway back and forth with its cold-blooded feeling. "Anyways, since it's now my martial path, I don't think it will harm me" he murmured while he started to focus his attention on his meridians. As he did, he was somewhat shocked to find that his meridians were much larger than the average, and inside of them surged black waves of mists that formed thick black ice on the walls of his meridians. "How is this possible" he shouted in his heart, waves surged in his mind and his body in the outside world suddenly Started to tremble which caused the black mists world inside his body to also tremble but it wasn't trembling to the degree as his body was. As one trains in the way of body refining, their meridians would be completely empty and most of the time it would also be blocked by the build-up of impurities in the body. It was only when a practitioner was reaching the Earth Realm stage would their meridians be freed by the drawing in of pure Qi to breakthrough and this was were Qi would enter the body and force out the impurities that were in the meridians. "What is happening to me" Though Jia Lin had experienced many things in his life, this was still the first time that he was encountering something such as this. His body was far from breaking through to the Earth Realm and even though he was used to Qi flowing through his meridians even though he was still in the saint Realm, that was all due to the blue pearl which was Layna. But now she was sealed away for three years but still he hadn't expected that inside his meridians there would be black mists surging and not just that but it was also forming black ice on the walls of his meridians too. "This is just too much to handle," he thought to himself when suddenly his mind shot up back again with roaring sounds and crashing waves. What he had noticed caused even his mind to suddenly feel as if it wanted to fall apart, "wh...where is my Qi Realm, it's gone" he shouted in shock and his mind once again reached a shocking level of being on the verge of collapsing, this was too shocking even for him. It was known to all martial cultivators that without a Qi Realm, one couldn't practice in the art of martial cultivation, if the Qi Realm was lost than all was lost because they wouldn't have anywhere to store their pure Qi or build a steady structure for their cultivation bases. His body trembled and his mind was at its breaking point, he was reaching his limit. Not even when he was in the mist world had his mind reached such a shocking level of falling apart, because to him, without a Qi Realm how could he grow, how could he save his beloved, all was lost, all was over before it even began. "Haha lost haha all lots" he chucked as if he was on the verge of going crazy but then suddenly the black mists world inside of his body surged up as if it was a great storm of black mists. It was as if the mists' world could sense what he was thinking and could also feel that Jia Lin's mind was about to collapse in on itself. The mists surge throughout all of his limbs and meridians, it completely locked down his body inside his consciousness and out as well, black mists rolled about in his mind calming his mind with a bone-chilling coldness that could freeze over the world but this coldness only felt warm to Jia Lin.
