New Understanding

It was high noon as Jia Lin and little Demon stood outside of the city's walls looking into the distance at the mystic forest. Between them, was a wide desert beaming with a hot sun, from this angle of the city to the mystic forest, the distance had increased substantially.

"Say, how long did you take to get all the way over there and back so fast" ask Jia Lin as he measured the speed at which he could travel and the distance that was placed before him. Even though Jia Lin was at the ninth level of the saint realm and little Demon was at the first level of the Earth realm, his and Jia Lin's speed could be counted as being equal in every way possible. Little Demon replied "Oh oh aum, I used the same thing that the clones of me used when they wanted to move faster. I drew in all the flowing energy things in the air and then I condensed it into my legs and then off go little Demon go"

While listening to little Demon, Jia Lin's jaw was slack because he could somewhat guess what he was talking about. When Jia Lin was in the mists' trials, he had faced off against four clones of himself and these clones had a special way of condensing pure Qi in the body and sending it out into a particular part of the body to be used. This method of using pure Qi was the mists' trial way of teaching Jia Lin how to utilize the pure in his body but he would never have thought that little Demon would be shown or taught the same concept of using pure Qi as well. 

What was also shocking was that he was able to comprehend it to such a degree and also applying it to the use of increasing his speed and strength. Or maybe while little Demon was going through its own trial by fire, the condensation of pure Qi was shown to it in this fashion and him Jia Lin another, but either way, Jia Lin had stumbled upon something new.

"Haha, you're really something else you know that" Jia Lin's mood once again soared to the heavens, and though he had the movement skill, celestial steps (flow like on immortal) he couldn't yet practice in it. This was because, the movement skill needed the to be used with pure Qi, thus the body had to be fully connected with the pure of heaven and earth and this step was where one reaches the Earth Realm. "well off we go then" said Jia Lin as he made to move off, the distance that they had to cross was massive but as soon as the words 'well off we go' left his mouth, the only thing he could see was a black blur shooting towards the mystic forest.

Once again little Demon left him shocked and flabbergasted. Its speed was even more tyrannical than it ever was and one could even say, as of this moment, it's speed far outclassed that of Jia Lin's by a large degree. The Qi vibrations in the air rippled as the breaking sounds of the wind around little Demon's body entered Jia Lin's ears, "Amazing footwork, this concept of using pure Qi to increase one's speed in itself can be considered as a movement top tire skill in some of these large sects. Truly amazing" Jia Lin's mind race with numerous thoughts as he watched the black blur which was little Demon got closer and closer to the mystic forest.

On his last trail within the mystic forest mists trial grounds, Jia Lin had used this concept of condensing pure Qi into his body, but it was not for speed but strength. First, he had gained enlightenment while watching a clone on how to condensed the pure Qi that was in the mists world into his body and pushed it towards his right hand, to do this he hand to focus on drawing the pure Qi of heaven and Earth while also condensing it and pushing it towards his hand. It was no exaggeration to say that to do this needed monstrous concentration while also paying close attention to you're enemy.

Once the Qi is condensed into his right hand and punched out, the amount of force that would be generated would create a massive airwave or one could say air current blast that would shot towards one's opponent with brutal force. One could imagine what the actual fist would do to the human body if it actually made contact. Their bones would be crushed and not to mention their skin and muscles, all would be destroyed, at one point even, when Jia Lin's body was on the verge of completely falling apart, he had willfully forced his body to draw in a massive amount of Qi that was in the mists trial grounds into his body and circulated it throughout all his limbs, not just his fists.

His legs were strengthened, as well as his fists, muscles, bones, each and every single area of his body was strengthened to an astonishing degree. But now he as once again learned a new way of how to use the pure Qi of heaven and earth without even stepping into the Earth Realm yet, but even so, he still couldn't full summoned the full use of pure Qi or even fully connected with it as an Earth Realm martial artist would.

Jia Lin pushed off the ground as he started running towards the forest, but soon he quickly began to realize the gap between himself and Little Demon's speed. He pushed his body to the limit and still, he was an entire realm and a half slower, the hot air of the desert blew across his face, making his whole body sweaty, finally he then came to a stop frowning. "I can't go on like this" he though TV while calming down his mind and after a few breaths of time, he activated his art of Tai Chi.

As of this moment, every single muscle in Jia Lin's body was put to use, his body slowly rotated as he drew in the pure Qi of heaven and Earth into his body. As pure Qi flowed in, it circulated throughout his entire body, before all of it rushed towards his feet. His legs felt as if they were the heaviest parts of his body, the veins in his legs bulged out and after fully condensing all the pure Qi into his legs he pushed off once more. The ground under his feet Cracked while also leaving behind his footprint, his leg strength was over the top but the expected outcome didn't happen.

Though he had condensed the needed amount of Qi into his legs, only the strength of his legs skyrocketed and not his speed. Seeing this turn of events, left Jia Lin feeling frustrated and confused, "I must be doing something wrong, how is it that only my strength increased and not my speed" thought Jia Lin as he watched little Demon enter into the mystic forest, Jia Lin frowned once more but then his mind flashed with a sense of realization. He then shouted "You i***t wolf, you didn't explain it right dumb ass"

"Qi flow like the wind, so one must first use Qi and then flow like the wind," thought Jia Lin, he then looked towards the forest and murmured "stupid wolf"

At the time when little Demon dashed towards the forest, it's speed was shocking and after it had dashed away, Jia Lin could sense in the air, waves of Qi vibrations. The air around the little wolf vibrated with Qi, this Qi that he sensed was coming out of Little Demon's body. "use Qi in the air to push yourself forward" he murmured while once again drawing in pure Qi, his mind trembled, even though he was once an immortal of the domain, this was after all-new martial path with new skills that he had never come across. This form of using pure Qi was taught within the mists trials and his Black God Divines Way was also given inside the mists trials, so Jia Lin could only somewhat apply his years of experience and try to learn the basics of this concept of using pure Qi. If it was something relating to Time use then Jia Lin would have no problem whatsoever but his path of time was lost.

Pure Qi rushed into Jia Lin's body once more, it circulated around his body and was forced to gather at his legs. Jia Lin's mind trembled due to focusing all he had on drawing in pure Qi, condensing and circulating it while also pushing it towards his legs. But that wasn't all he was doing, the pure Qi that was condensed in his legs were slowly being released back out of his body under his feet but it did not disperse in the air but gathered under his feet.

His body floated up on inch off the ground while sending dust flying in all directions. The air around his body suddenly started to vibrate with pure Qi, large beads of sweat was on his forehead, to do all that which he had just done really took a lot of effort on his part. "Time to go" he shouted while pushing his body forwards, the air around he screamed as his body shot off into the distance like a shooting star, the pure Qi beneath his feet connecting to the pure Qi in the atmosphere and dragging him across the air space.
