“I can’t thank you enough. You and your friends are lifesavers,” Jill held her mug in both hands as she sipped her coffee. “Sarah is such a sweetie. How long have you been friends?” “I’m so not telling her you said that. She’s arrogant enough.” Alex shook her head and smiled. “We met our freshman year in college.” Alex squinted and looked toward the ceiling as she did the math in her head. “Means we’ve been friends for fifteen years.
