My heart rebelled, but there was nothing I could do but keep my mouth shut, but my mind was already cursing the guy!
A pet? Did he call me a pet?! This guy is crazy! Can't he see that I'm human?! I exclaimed in my mind. Because of my irritation, I didn't realize my grip on Tyler's hand tightened, and the changes in my movements did not escape his keen sense.
