Elwyn's POV
Jackie gave me a small nod before following the group as they left. His eyes remained on me until he was completely out of sight. I knew he didn't really want to join in on the fun, but he went along to avoid offending them.
I sat back with the project document in my hand, but it wasn't long before Tim's voice boomed from the stage in front. He stood before the crowd, with a radiant smile and a microphone in hand, instantly capturing everyone's attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Tim began, his voice full of enthusiasm. "Thank you all for attending this event. We've discussed a lot about work, and I think it's time to move on to the more fun part of the evening." Tim paused, his gaze sweeping across the room.
"It's time for some dancing!" he declared with excitemen
