Tournament and My Mate

As I was getting in my car my I hear someone calling me. I turned around to see it is my brother, he is running towards me with a box in his hand and a ribbon wrapped around it. I sighed "what is it London? You know how I feel about being late," I asked him.

"Its fine. You own the company anyway and I doubt that assistant of yours will mind she adores you," he said waving his hand up and down in a dismissive manner. "Anyway here wear this today," he hands me the box.

"What is wrong is with what I got on?" I ask gesturing to my clothes. I have on a baby blue silk button down shirt that hugs my curves and some dress pants and a pair of my favorite Gucci heels.

My brother sighs "really! I am straight as hell and I got a better fashion sense then you sis!" he all but yells. "You are trying to find your mate! Your not going to a business meeting. Anyway I didn't pick those out Abbigale did."

"Fine!" I give in, "are you still coming?"

"Yes, we will be there in a couple of hours," he tells me and runs off.

I get in the car and tell James my omega to drive. I look out the window and watch as the trees pass with in a 15 minutes we are in front of the building. "You know James," I began as I reach for his hand and get out of the car.

He looks at me puzzled when I stop talking. He doesn't talk much since he lost his mate a couple of years back.

"I started this company 7 years ago, and it has grown into one of the leading brands in the United states. I sometimes wish I had started it under normal circumstances. But then again were is the fun in that," I tell him.

"Alpha?" James calls me.

"James I have told you a hundred times just call me by my name," I half scold half joke.

"Sorry," he apologizes and continues, "will you be fighting the winner today as well?"

"Yes," was all I said as I walked inside.

I finish up the last of my meetings and head to the security office and watch as the humans begin to leave. "Make sure all the humans are out of the building," I tell David my security guard and a omaga.

"Yes alpha," he tells me and I notice that his eyes have glazed over. Hmm he is mind linking the other guards. I have about 30 guards placed throughout the entire building. about 5 on each floor. I know it is a but extreme but it was my brothers idea. I started a fashion and entertainment business and recently have begun expanding into other business, while my brother decided to start a security business all because of how many times I have nearly been kidnapped.

"Its clear Alpha," David tells me.

"Tell Lily to come help me change, I can't mind link her she is part of my brothers pack not mine," I tell him as I head to my office.

As I get in the elevator and press the button for floor 15, I see my brother running towards me. I smirk as the door closes. When I emerge on the top floor I am attacked by Lily.

"Artemis! Come on, come on! We have about 30 minutes to get you ready," she says excitedly and practically shoves me into a chair and begin going to work within 15 minutes she finishes my make up. When I try to look in the mirror she grabs me and says "no, not until you put the dress on now go!"

I swear she is more excited then me and so pushy. I began to feel sorry for her mate David. They are polar opposites he is calm and collected and she is loud and upitty is the only way I can put it. After I put the dress on I go out an ask her to help me zip it up the rest of the way. When we are done she pulls me over to the full length mirror with my back facing it.

"Ready?" she asks.

"Ready as I will ever be," I tell her.

"One, two, three!" she spins me around to face the mirror.

I gasped at my reflection I never really wore makeup because I never really needed it. She had put on light eyeshadow a little bit of blush and eyeliner and mascara finally some nude lipstick. She had let my hair down to fall on my shoulders and down my back in waves. The dress I was wearing was elegant but also a sexy shade of black that hugged each and every curve I had, with a long slit up to my mid thigh.

"Do you like it?" she asked when I didn't speak.

"Like it I love it!" I told her.

'If they fought hard last year for us they might just kill for us this year,' My wolf Lavette said to me.

'You might be right, we are beautiful,' I tell her.

'Should we get this tournament started and find out of our mate is one of them?' she asks.

'Let's get this tournament started the,' I tell her as I began walking towards the elevator and taking out a key to open a key pad so we can head to the basement floor. 'They should all be there by now right?' I asked Lavette.

'We have given them plenty of time,' she says.

We reach the basement floor and I step out of the elevator and the most wonderful smell hits me.

(Ok I just wanted to let everyone know that, my days off are always changing. Stating next week there will only be two chapters a week. Oh and in April I will be going on vacation so I will try to upload at least for chapter those two weeks I am off. Please support me and leave comments to let me know how you like it so far.
