Angelica and her Alpha prince

I woke up with a headache and looked around. Sun was coming through the window, that I was facing. This wasn't my bedroom, where was I? I was lying in a large four-poster bed and no one was around. What happened last night? I froze as memories of last night's event started flooding my head. I was attending a charity event for a charity that I volunteer for and my ex-boyfriend, Patrick appeared there uninvited. To say that he caused a scene is an understatement. He tried to talk me into getting back to him, but I wasn't going to fall for his nice talk this time. I had enough of his lies and treating me like I wasn't good enough for him. He has left the building, as security guards asked him to leave, but he wouldn't be himself if he left quietly. He made sure to shout abuse my way on his way out. I was so embarrassed that I decided to leave earlier and go home. As I live only couple streets away from the venue, I've decided to walk home. As I walked for few minutes, I have felt someone's presence. I turned around and was terrified to see Patrick following me. He was close and I started to walk faster. Suddenly I have felt a strong pain in the back of my head. Next thing I remember is waking up in this room, that I haven't seen before. I got up from bed and decided to look around to see if I can recognise where I was. I looked out the window and realised that there were trees everywhere around the building. This is definitely not my city. How did I get to a place surrounded by a forest? I was deep in thoughts when I've heared the bedroom door opening. I quickly run back to bed to cover myself with sheets. "Good morning, I see that you've woke up Miss", a young woman in a maid uniform greeted me with a smile. "I have brought you some breakfast. I'll bring some dresses for you to choose from. Prince Andrew is waiting for you in the palace garden." Did she just say palace? Where was I and who was this prince? I've never heared about any royal family in my area. Was I really that far from my city? "Where am I?" I decided to ask the young woman. "And who are you?" "Oh, I'm sorry Miss", young woman replied. "My name is Caroline and I'm a maid working in this palace." "Nice to meet you Caroline, I'm Angelica", I've replied. "Can you tell me how I've got here and what I'm doing here?" Caroline's face blushed at my question. "I think I'll go to bring some dresses. It's not my place to say why you're here Miss", she replied and left the room in a hurry, not giving me time to reply and ask any questions. I looked around the room and saw a table with couple of chairs in the corner, where Caroline has put a tray with breakfast before she left. I felt quite hungry, so I decided to sit and have something to eat, while waiting for Caroline to return. It wasn't long till I heard the door opening again and saw Caroline walking in with few beautiful dresses in her hands. I was speechless, I've only seen dresses like that before in movies and books. "You can choose whatever dress you like Miss", she said. "Prince had them chosen for you by his royal stylist." Please stop calling me Miss", I replied. "You can call me Angelica." "Ok, Miss... I mean Angelica", Caroline replied with a warm smile. She put the dresses on the bed and turned to me. "Prince Andrew is waiting in the garden. Whenever you're ready, just ask one of the guards outside the bedroom door, to take you to prince and they'll escort you", she explained. "Thank you, Caroline", I replied as she turned towards the door and left the room. Of course there have to be guards. I knew that trying to escape wasn't going to be easy, but that was making it even more difficult. As I was left alone in the room, I felt a strong headache again. Why was my head so sore?
