Shaun washed his hands, then turned toward Ian who had a stack of crackers in front of him from the appetizer tray Fiona had taken to the clients.
“Want to share?” Shaun asked.

Taking it, he studied Ian for a moment. “You knew about the wedding date?”
Ian nodded.
“The exact date, or that they were getting married?”
“I knew they were making plans. I didn’t see a date.”
“What did you see?” Shaun popped the cracker into his mouth.
