“Outside the country”
For so many days, I’ve been thinking about Thylene's proposal. But how can I? My mom is here, though she’s still not conscious. The businesses are here, my studies, and my home. I couldn’t imagine living in this country with so many responsibilities left.
“Are you okay? Is there something bothering you?” Skynard kisses my head and sits beside me We are here again in our condo unit. I didn’t know why I end up coming with him. Starting that day, we’ve been closer to each other. He would text me from time to time, do random calls, and pick me up from my home to school.
“ Nothing, I’m just a bit tired. Finals is fast approaching.” I lied. He holds my hand and squeezes it gently. His small gestures always give butterflies to me.
