My heart was pounding in my chest as we walked into the bathroom together. Brennan dropped his eyes as we made it to the tub, turning away to give me privacy. I smiled at the sight of it, as if he hadn’t already seen me naked. But, I appreciated it too.
Hands shaking, I pulled off my clothes and stepped down into the bath, sinking in slowly until I was up to my neck. When I turned, though, I found that Brennan hadn’t been able to help himself, because he was staring at me. When he realized I had caught him, he cleared his throat and turned around, shedding his own clothes.
I didn’t bother to look away, and when he turned to get into the tub, he started as he saw me watching him, a smile on my face.
