BRENNAN There were wolves in the trees. I growled as my pack moved around me, half changing, half watching their backs. Arrows were pointed at trees, and Kiera had been placed behind Tarrin, his large frame dwarfing hers as he protected her. My eyes scanned the trees, before coming to a stop at the barest hint of movement in the shadows. “Pason, come out,” I said, anger lodged in every word.
