My tent was getting to feel like a prison. I sat on my pellet, dinner in my lap, but I wasn’t eating. Instead, my eyes were open, but not seeing, and my mind was racing, going over everything that had happened since I had married Brennan. Every little thing that had led to where we found ourselves right now. Me, feeling betrayed, and yet still in my tent alone, because his wolves were loyal to him.
