Drew: Why am I experiencing this, darling? I thought I already know myself but there are still a lot of secrets my Mom kept hidden from me. I guess I need to fly to another town for a while. I need some time for myself.

Jette: You’re going to leave me? In my weeks of stay here in this resort, I have found out a lot of things including your life story. I also found out that being depressed has nothing to help us. It will only make our present life miserable.

Drew: No, I won’t leave you of course. I’m actually using this opportunity to plan FOREVER with you.

Jette: Now?

Drew: Yes. I am not proposing because I know you’re already traumatized with proposals, *laugh. I just want you to know that I’m always here for you.

Jette: So, you’re not going to marry me?

Drew: You’re not getting it. You said, you hate proposals, right?

Jette: Yes, but not with you…

Drew: Hmmm…

Jette: Alright, to make it easy… easier for you, let me be the one to propose, “Will you marry me?”

Drew: You shouldn’t have… I will marry you at the right time, and at the right place.

Jette: So, you’re rejecting me?

Drew: Girls are really crazy. I didn’t say that, huh… I mean, you’re an unica jiha, and I need to prove myself to your parents before marrying you.

Jette: My parents? I even don’t know if which is which… which is true and which isn’t.

Drew: What do you mean? (Drew acts as if he doesn’t know the whole story)

Jette: My dad confessed to me, I am not mom’s child. My real mom is Ms. Griffin… Candy… That is the mom of John, my co-teacher then. The one who has the worst intention about my life. Meaning, John is my whole blood brother…

Drew: I cannot believe it, darling. We’re both experiencing the worst of our lives now. Can you live with me already? Let us build our own family.

Jette: So, this isn’t a proposal?

Drew: No, this is a statement. *laugh… If you want let us get married civilly… Anyway, we’re of age already.

Jette: Yes, I’m 29 and you’re 30.

Drew: Is it a yes?

Jette: It’s always been a yes, darling. Don’t worry about your DNA… I’m happy you have a brother now… and our soon-to-be child will have an Uncle.

(The two kissed for the first time after they rekindle their love story for the second time around)

Drew: Yes, Tim has been so good to me since the moment we found out that we’re brothers. Anyway, until when are we going to stay here?

Jette: I’ve been figuring out some problems in the legal side of this resort. Tim asked my help, and once it’s done, I’m… I mean we’re going to move in…

Drew: Yes. Thanks.

Meanwhile, the sun is up.

“Darling, Jette, I need to go out now, huh,” said Drew.

“Why?” asked Jette.

“I’m going to meet my good friend, Polo. He’s been asking me to work for him because he owns a construction company, and he needs a trusted friend to work there,” answered Drew.

“Alright, no problem,” said Jette.

When Drew is away, Jette grabbed a cup of coffee and sipping it while watching the waves of the ocean. Then, she remembers it’s almost December already. 1 month to go and it’s already end of the 4th quarter… It means, she’s going to transform once again into a dog. She needs to put a stop to it.

She immediately runs towards her locker, and looked at the book. She was surprised when she saw the book and noticed that it becomes thinner. Upon examining it, she found a small note, which says,

“Because of the true love’s kiss, I decided to make this book thinner. When your daughter turned 18, she will have the same fate as you. By that time, you will no longer transform into a dog. If you can successfully burn it before she turns 18, you’re all spared from the curse.”

The kiss… It was true love’s kiss that makes it thinner. But she doesn’t like what she found… The note stating that her daughter will have the same fate as her. Of course, she doesn’t want her future daughter or any of her future children to suffer the weird and mysterious experience she now has.

She decided to leave the resort.

On the bed, Drew found out a note:

“My love, I will be out for a while… Please don’t look for me because I don’t want anyone to be with for now. I want some time for myself. I love you.”

While traveling, there are a lot of thoughts running in the head of Jette. She thinks twice if whether or not to still pursue with the wedding planned by Drew. She also thinks about her transformation, the secret that she’s been keeping from him. Now, if she gets married with him, and has kids, one of her children, a daughter will experience the same. She doesn’t like it. She better experiences the transformation instead of her children experiencing the same.

She travels and she has no one to turn to. She doesn’t know where to go. It’s just that her feet lead her way. Until, she decided to fix everything.

“Dad, I’m sorry,” said Jette.

“Why are you saying sorry? I am the one at fault here,” admitted her Dad.

“It’s because I have told you hurtful words, and I didn’t even listen to your explanation,” added Jette.

“Now, can you listen?” said her Dad.

“Yes, Dad,” answered Jette.

Her dad said, “Candy and I were married for 5 years, and we have been gifted with a son. I named him…”

“… John,” added Jette.

“How did you know?” asked her Dad.

“Because I just know,” answered Jette.

“Yes, John… Then, after John’s 5th birthday, her Mom suffered a mental sickness which already affected our family. She would beat John until his legs turned red because of wounds and blood,” said her Dad.

(Jette was surprised upon knowing all those. She now understands why John grew up with that mindset.)

“Dad, I can’t believe everything you said,” said Jette.

“Not only that, my darling. There’s more… Candy left me with another men. I caught them in the act of having s****l i*********e in front of John,” her Dad added.

“What??? John has been molested in his younger years???” said Jette.

“Yes. I decided to file an annulment in Court, and it was granted. Candy was put to jail for a year, and after getting a medical clearance from her psychiatrist, she was admitted to the mental facility instead, and she died 10 months after,” her Dad explained.

“John and I lived in a small apartment. I worked night and day to give him the support he needs. Then after a year, I met your Mom. Your Mom took care of John for a year, until John decided to leave our apartment,” he added.

“I know where he is,” said Jette.

“Yes, I also know where he is. He went to his grandparents. But now, her grandpa contacted me and told me that John has a mental condition although he is functioning well. He is a teacher already. His grandpa told me that she has a bipolar disorder,” added her Dad.

“So, you see, darling? I am not how you think I am,” said her Dad.

“But, how did I become Candy’s daughter?” asked Jette.

“You became her daughter because all those times, she was pregnant,” added her Dad.

“Are you sure, Dad that I am your daughter? It’s because you said she left you with another man?” asked Jette.

“Yes, I know that I’m your true father because I had you checked, I mean, DNA test, and you’re my daughter,” said her Dad.

“Oh Dad, I love you so much. That explains why I have ADHD, it’s because I got it from my real Mom,” said Jette.

“Jette, are you ready to meet your brother?” asked her Dad.

“Yes Dad, but he hates me,” said Jette.

“How did you know it?” asked her Dad.

“It’s because I have means to know, Dad,” said Jette.

Principal: Ms. Arden, I’m afraid you will be removed from the list of teachers in our school

Jette: I understand Ma’am, I have been away for months. I just had to deal with some family problems.

Principal: Not only that. There is a complaint lodged against you by one of your co-teachers.

Jette: Huh? Who? What complaint Ma’am?

Principal: It is from John. He complains you for setting a bad example to students. Actually, I called you to come over to talk to you and John about it.

(A knock on the door was created, and then, John entered the room)

John: Good morning Madame Principal.

Principal: Come, take a seat. Good morning to you both. I called you to discuss about the complaint you have lodged against Bridgette. I don’t want to drag the name of our school so I need to talk to you about it.

John: Yes Ma’am. It’s true Jette, I have a complaint against you. You have set a bad example as second parent to our students. Of course, no one will respect someone as flirt as you. This lady, seduced a student named Brent. That is the reason why Brent left the school because he is always being put to mockery in her classes. It is because there was a romantic relationship that happened between the two.

(Unknown to Jette, their conversation is being recorded by John and on live and on loudspeaker so that the whole campus will listen to. He had to pay a large amount of money to the school’s IT officer)

LOUDSPEAKER ON:

Principal: Is it true, Ms. Bridgette?

(All people looked around and stopped from what they’re doing.)

Principal: Do not cry Jette. We’re here because we want to know what happened. You have the chance to defend yourself. I am not a one-sided principal.

Jette: I don’t have anything to say, Ma’am.

(Everyone starts whispering with one another, and Brent also hears the speaker. He’s at school to get the rest of her papers, documents, and academic papers in his school records)

John: See, principal? She is guilty.

Principal: For the last time, I want you to say your piece, Ms. Jette…

Jette: If you would allow, Ma’am… Can I now leave? I accept the things being complained against me. Yes, all is true. I had an affair with my student. Yes, I left the school while the relationship was ongoing. But I returned…

John: To take revenge on Brent.

Jette: No! I even didn’t know that he’s still here.

John: Liar! You know because you’re still in love with him.             

(Brent became too nervous and he doesn’t want that Jette’s reputation be tainted by what the crowd is listening to.)

Jette: Madame Principal, please allow me to leave. I promise I won’t reapply here anymore.

Jette runs outside the Principal’s Office, and she is shocked knowing that everything is being recorded and being listened to by the crowd outside. She cried and ran away.

Brent followed her. They were given the chance to talk.

“I’m so sorry, your name is dragged here,” said Brent.

“Are you happy now?” said Jette.

“Please leave me, or else I will file a case against you,” added Jette.

“You don’t have to. I will leave the country for good. I just came over at school to get my papers and academic documents. Actually, I was just wondering why you didn’t defend yourself?” asked Brent.

“It’s none of your business. And for the record, I am happily in a relationship right now. I am happy with Drew, and we’re getting married,” said Jette.

“I’m so happy for you, congratulations. Again, I’m so sorry,” said Brent.

Jette was left alone at the park. She stares at the stars crying. Everyone is looking at her. She just wants to cry. She’s so sad… Sadness is eating her system…

*Phone rings… Drew is calling…

“Hello darling? I love you so much. Please hug me, I need you now,” said Jette.
