Waves of unwanted notifications flooded his phone once he got a better network service on the top of the hill. It's already a routine for him to go there with Eunrae although they didn't do anything aside from chatting and sharing stories. Jimin finally got used to walking in the woods, so the obstacles were not even a matter for him anymore. Jimin frowned when he saw Hana's messages, contemplating whether to reply or not. A part of him was still longing for her existence despite knowing her true colours. That's why he hasn't blocked her number yet. She was once very kind towards him although her cute acts were probably not genuine. But Jimin needed love. "Hey Jimin! who's Hana? Are you even listening to me?" Eunrae frowned as Jimin snapped from his daze. He'd been staring at his phone unconsciously. "H–hana is m–my ex," he stuttered. Eunrae scowled at his answer and snatched his phone from him. "Hey!" Jimin tried to reach out for his phone but Eunrae hid it behind her, having no intention to give the device back anytime soon. Eunrae sighed. "You know, happiness starts from yourself. If you keep doing the things that make you sad, you won't be happy in forever. I'll be confiscating this for the time being," she stated and Jimin looked down apologetically. "You're right eunrae, but I still somewhat have remaining feelings for her? I mean, she used to be very kind and lovely–" "But then she cheated on you, right?" She deadpanned, getting straight to the point with that one question. "Jimin, think again, do you really think she loved you? have you ever thought that she was actually aiming for your money?" That question made him think about his relationship once again. He closed his eyes, remembering all the moments they had shared in the past, but most of them were Hana asking Jimin to buy this and that, to eat at a fancy restaurant and everything else that's money consuming. Jimin dawned into a realization. "You're right..." He trailed off in a low tone. Also at the same time, he was amazed how Eunrae could be this smart and strong in using words. She's calm yet fierce at the same time—when the timing was right. Eunrae smiled at him. "Anyways, it's so ironic because Hana means flowers in Japanese, and flowers are really pretty and meaningful. While your ex here is most likely the opposite of that definition." She chuckled which immediately made Jimin loosen up a little bit. Jimin laughed along with her. "You're definitely right. I should really cut my connections with her and move on with life."
