Chapter 16

The day passed just like that, counting the train that passed, absentmindedly staring into the distance. The sun had been pulled down back to the horizon, so the weather became colder than before. They paused and had dinner together. Back at counting after finished. It looked so stupid how they spent a day just to count the trains that passed, but what people saw wasn't what they felt. Without knowing the truth, both of them were actually enjoying each other's presence, hearts raced in a rapid speed. Jimin wasn't bored, at all. He didn't mind to stand next to Eunrae all day and vice-versa. But sadly, the dark sky meant they'd have to separate soon. "Eunrae," he called in a low voice, not wanting to break the perfect atmosphere between them. "Yes?" He shifted uncomfortably, eyes still focusing to the front. He bit his lower lip nervously before saying, "I'm actually going back to the city in a few days. I don't want to run from my problems anymore. Heck, they're not even problems for me right now." Jimin chuckled, feeling stupid while remembering Park Jimin from a few weeks ago. Eunrae grinned from ear to ear, feeling proud of his friend that has changed into a better version just in a few weeks. "Really?! That's great, Jimin. I'm happy for you and I respect your decision. But don't forget to come back," she warned, turning her head to face the lad. A teasing smirk crept on his face. "Why? Do you like me that much?" He joked and actually very interested to hear whatever she would say as a response. She nodded. "To be honest, I'll miss you a lot. Also, I've decided to open a flower shop one day, and I'll name that shop house of flowers. so, as the birth giver of that name, I want you to be the first customer!" She cheered and pounded her fist into the air. Jimin frowned. "But how would I know? And what if that did not happen?" He questioned. "It's alright, I believe in fate. I'm certain that you'll be the first one to visit my shop. You know, I heard people say that friends have a special kind of connection. So if one felt sick or something, their friend would know. But if it didn't happen, then we'll still be friends!" She giggled. Jimin's cheeks flushed at her cuteness. Eunrae always managed to hit the soft spot he has created for her during his stay here. "A–alright, I shall try my best," he timidly answered, scratching his nape. "Promise?" She grinned and offered her pinky finger to him. "Promise." And their pinky fingers linked, sealing a promise.
