CHAPTER 1 Gabriel was sitting in his office thinking about his EX girlfriend, Ashley FLASHBACK "I'm sick and tired of this Gabriel" Ashley angrily said Gabriel was confused and shocked at her outburst .He just got back from the office and wasn't expecting that sort of welcome . " what are you talking about?" "Aargh" Ashley angrily exclaimed . "You still don't get it, do you " she asked, frustrated with his cluelessness . "if you make it alot clearer , I'd get a better picture of what you're on about " " I HATE YOU GABRIEL " she spat. Gabriel was taken aback by that " I've been waiting for you for the past three hours, Gabriel, so we would go on the stupid date you promised, but once again you didn't show up or should I say, you were to busy to show up" Then it hit Gabriel like a ton of bricks. he had totally forget about the date he had promised Ashley. Now, he feels guilty. He has no excuse this time, other than the fact he forgot about it "Baby, I'm sorry. I totally forgot about it because of an urgent meeting I had to attend " " Great.just great ! You always have something important to deal with . What about me, huh?! is you company more important than me?! " Gabriel didn't like where this argument was going .He loves Ashley, but also his company is important to him "I'm sorry, okay? I'll make it up to you " he said not wanting to get into an argument with her. " T DON'T WANT THAT, OKAY !?" she yelled " you always say that but you never keep to your word ,you always come up with new excuses.you are just incredible Gabriel!" she replied, stating the last with sarcasm. "you suck at this Gab.." "Ashley, please can we not continue this conversation.I promise to make up for my mistake " if you like, we can have tomorrow to our selves" Gabriel suggested , hoping to make Ashley calm down and feel better. he won't denial the fact that he is a terrible boyfriend . "After tomorrow, then what ,she asked Gabriel looked perplexed , not understanding what Ashley was trying to say. Ashley closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, getting her self for the next thing she's about to say. " I don't think having tomorrow to our selves would be necessary , I already moved my things .I was only waiting for you to come back so I can tell you in person" " what do you mean you moved your things ?" " I can't continue living like this , Gabriel .You make me sick.so I think is best we end things " Gabriel couldn't hide the surprise on his face . Ashley not only mentioned moving her things out of the house, she also want them to break up . "Are you trying to break up with me?" he asked, wanting to get a better understanding of what she said. " Am not trying,Gabe, I'm breaking up with you" Gabriel was devastated by her statement.He watched Ashley leave without looking back. She couldn't even give them a second chance,she just left, leaving him completely broken END OF FLASHBACK That incident happened five years ago and Gabriel still can't get it off his head. it still remains fresh , he doesn't think he would even forget that day . That is the reason his more dedicated to his work now more than ever because he knows the only thing that loves and understand him, but his mom think otherwise. His parents are worried about him. they want him to move on .. FLASHBACK "Gabe, my son, you have to listen to me .you need to move on, forget about Ashley.If she actually Loved you, she wouldn't leave the way she left" "Mom please can we not talk about this" we have to, honey, you aren't getting any younger .You will be forty in the next couple of month, Gabe stop hurting yourself living like this, she isn't worth it. "I need to go back to work, mom, I will talk to you later" "Just what am talking about,stop drowning yourself in work....go outside, mingle with your friends ... Baby do it for your Mom" "Hmm... CHAPTER 2 Staring at her self in the mirror one last time to convince herself she's set for the day.She picked up her black purse that she has placed on the bed.It matched he black high waist pants and grey turtle neck blouse.She slipped on her black stiellot and headed for the door. She came out of the apartment building she where lived and inhale the fresh air of New York City. She was quite excited for today .She hasn't gone shopping for like two weeks. But today she wasn't going to let anything stop her from shopping for herself, After she received a thousand dollar from a happy customer last night she wished she could get such tips from her customers each day One doesn't get lucky each day, she concluded . But she's mostly going to use the money to take care of herself and look good. She needed a new hairdo, some new clothes and shoes to add to her moderate collection at home . She stopped a taxi ,got inside and directed the driver to her desired salon. After having her hair make over, She had her finger and toe nails done and also changed her make-up from her regular everyday look . She left the salon and went into a boutique to shop for some beautiful clothes.She loved going for shopping and she loved doing it her self because she's quite picky when it comes to her clothes and that's because she has a very good taste when it comes to fashion and wouldn't want to settle for anything less, no matter who it comes from. Sadly, the only thing standing in the way of her high standards was, money. When she was done shopping, she decided to put on one of the outfit she had bought ,The Black high neck crop top with a black a white striped skirt and black lace heels. She loved the look and wish she could look like that all the day of her life. She paid for the clothes and left the boutique, heading home. Nicole Robinson,a twenty seven years old lady who lives in an apartment in the city of New York City. The apartment was given to her by her best friend some years back when she got a better job offer with a house in California. Nicole work at a VIP lounge bar in a lounge bar.The salary is considerable good. At least, she owes nothing but can live comfortably every month, but sincerely, that, wasn't the life she wanted . She wants to live a good lifetime, like the rich people do, A life filled with adventure and luxury.A life where she lacks nothing. That way, she could go shopping everyday, travel around the world, discover new places, meet new people and have not to worry about paying bills
