Time to Travel... Again

"Are you sure you're leaving?" Sierra sounded so sad that I was tempted to stay just to cheer her up. But sadly, I need answers and a possibility of going back to my own world. Ever since our talk yesterday, I've already made a decision to go on a little bit of adventure in hopes of finding anything that's connected to what happened to me. I looked at Asmodai beside me, one hand holding mine while the other one is in his pocket. He's definitely sad but he just didn't want to admit it like the stubborn child that he is. I asked him last night if he wanted to stay here and live with Sierra and Silas so he could finally experience the life of a real child. I actually thought that he would say yes but, to my surprise, he sounded disappointed that I even asked him that question. He even pouted, thinking that I just want to remove him from my life. I panicked when he was about to cry so I had no choice but to give in and just take him with me. "Yes, we're leaving. Thank you so much for everything, especially for saving my life." I said, smiling widely at the couple. Silas stood there with his hands on Sierra's shoulders, consoling his wife like they're watching a son that's about to go to college or something. "Take care of yourself. We hope that you two would come visit us every once in a while." He said while showing us a rare small smile. I nodded as I took a deep breath. We said our final goodbyes and the two of us took off towards the direction of the capital city of Wildewick - Laraudia. We walked through the small village, but something made me stop when we passed by the Market. There, behind a wooden stall filled with suspicious goods, is a man holding a bag that's very oddly similar to the inventory logo on Halcyon Dawning's Menu. I feel a weird force pulling me towards the bag, so I decided to approach him. "Blair? Is there something wrong?" Asmodai asked. "I'm just going to check on something." I answered, ruffling his hair lightly. The man was marketing the bag to passerbys with his loud voice becoming clearer as we got closer. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is a magical bag with a powerful seal on it as it can't be opened by anyone other than its true owner!" He said, peaking my interest. "Uhm, excuse me. Where did you get that bag?" I asked when I was finally in front of him. "Ah, young man! I see that you have a fine taste for the unknown! This bag was found near the village destroyed by the Goblins a few days ago by a passing merchant. No one can opened it, not even the most powerful wizard in Wildewick!" He said like he was still advertising the bag to me. "Blair, is that-" I put my hand on Asmodai's head and he stopped talking. "If I can open that bag, can I have it for free?" I asked and the man laughed. "Young man, didn't you hear what I said? Even the most powerful wizard in Wildewick can't break the seal of this bag. The merchant just passed it on to me when he gave up hope of ever opening it." He said with a smug look on his face. "Like I said," I shrugged, "if I open this, can I have it for free?" I repeated. The man frowned, realizing that I was serious. Then he grinned again as if he knows the outcome of this conversation. "Fine. If you break the seal, it's yours." He said and tossed the bag towards me. I caught the bag using my free hand and I immediately felt a strong connection to it as soon as it touched my skin. The bag isn't even that special-looking. It's just a regular brown satchel that looks worn-out by a few years. But the bag glowed a dark violet color a few seconds later, causing the merchant to gasp. I focused my power on my hand until I could hear the faint echo of what sounded like a glass breaking. I then used my other hand to open up the bag, grinning at the man who's mouth is wide open in surprise. "Thanks for the bag." I said and finally walked away with Asmodai, leaving the speechless man behind. When we were finally on the edge of the village, I inspected the contents of the bag but was surprised to see that the inside is a black void. "Let me see what's inside." Asmodai said and I gave him the bag, watching him closely in case he got sucked in by that thing. He stuck his whole arm inside and I was surprised when he pulled out a diamond that's exactly shaped as Halcyon Dawning's diamond currency. "How did you do that?" I asked as he returned the bag to me. "I just thought that I want to get some money and I pulled out this thing." He said while inspecting out the diamond. So, what, I just need to think of what I want to get? I tried to remember the things that I put inside of my bag when I was still in the game. Equipment, potions, enhancing stones, clothes and some other useless stuff that I still haven't sold in the Market yet. Oh, and some reserve gold and diamonds too. I took half off my money to save it inside of the bag's endless space. I thought of the clothes that I just bought from the shop as I stick my hand in the void. I felt a solid thing touch my palm so I immediately pulled it out. To my surprise, it's one of the blue hoodies that I bought that has the logo of the game written on the front with my name on the back. And then it clicked inside of my mind. "Holy crap, this is really my bag." I muttered in disbelief. "What?" Asmodai asked, an eyebrow raised high. "I don't know how or why but this is mine. Do you see this hoodie? I bought this from a shop back in Raveryn." I showed him the hoodie and he stared at it. "But how did the merchant find that?" He wondered, frowning in confusion. "I don't know but I don't intend to let go of it again." I declared and wore the bag across my body protectively after I returned the hoodie back inside. We continued to walk across the valley, stopping every now and then to rest and drink some stamina potions from my bag, until I felt something weird. I stopped walking, putting my index finger on my lips to keep Asmodai from talking. He immediately understood the situation and he held on to my arm in case something happens. We stood still, trying to feel if there's any unusual movement around us. Asmodai lightly tapped my hand and pointed towards a huge tree just a few feet to our right. I frowned, but then I felt danger. As soon as I knew that something was wrong, I scooped Asmodai into my arms and ran like there's a horde of zombies chasing us. But instead of zombies, there were freaking 10-foot-tall Centaurs.
