Diara Kennis narrowed his gaze, and then inhaled and exhaled as if he were preparing to smile. “Now, I just don’t want to,” he scowled. He was so cute in this moment. We were about to protest when the woman making cotton candy handed Ana hers and gave me mine. Kennis refused to eat his, so I ate it, even though I didn't love consuming so much sugar. Our next stop was the photo booth, and Ana insisted that I sit on grumpy Kennis’s lap. I did so reluctantly and was surprised when he wrapped an arm around my waist. Ana positioned herself close to both of us, and we smiled, striking funny poses as the camera shutter clicked. I turned to Kennis and grabbed his cheeks, forcing him to smile just as another shutter went off. He only frowned at me, and the camera captured that moment as well.
