I woke up to soft jazz music and a small ray of sunshine on my face. I opened my eyes slowly and squinted to adjust. I scanned the room I was in. It was a normal bedroom with tall windows, although they were draped with hideous dark beige curtains. There was a TV and a beige couch, and at the far end, I noticed two separate doors. I was in a queen-sized four-poster bed, covered with multiple layers of bedding. The room was unappealing. I had no idea how long I had been unconscious, but it felt like forever. I still felt weak. I gathered my thoughts, and memory flashed into my mind. The moment Horus killed Matt. My stomach churned as the scene replayed, and I started heaving. Matt was dead, gone just like that. My heart raced, and my breath grew frantic as my lungs refused to draw in air.
