Alpha Kennis glared at me as if I had killed his beloved pet. I doubted he had ever owned one, but the intensity of his stare, with his now black eyes, made my heart pound out of my chest in fear. Before I could process what was happening, someone grabbed my arm and swiftly took me to the garden. It was Louis, and I was surprised to see him. “Diara, what do you think you’re doing?” he asked.
