The more time that passes, the more dead I feel. It may sound dramatic, but being among those cheeky beings drained all of my spirits. We were in a pizza parlor on the school grounds, enjoying a 9-inch pizza with a side of soda. Even though it wasn't as filling as a real meal, it was better than having nothing. I'm not sure why they chose this spot. It could be because it was in the shadiest part of the open ground, or they just wanted to eat pizza.
