Mindy was sitting by the window and reading some book . Actually she was done with this book she wanted to get another one . Tyler walked towards the library . He was surprised to see Mindy inside . He rubbed his eyes and looked again she was not there so he thought that may be he was thinking about her in his sub-conscious .

Will the two cross paths today ?

Tyler walked in the library . Call it crazy but he was able to feel Mindy's presence . May be it was because he has been here a lot with Mindy . This place was flooded with their memories and they were all rushing back . Miss Beth was the librarian here . Miss Beth used to be Tyler's neighbor . When Tyler was in school he used to work here part time . She was very kind not just to him but also to Mindy .

Beth entered the library just after Tyler but she didn't see him . She was on break today but there was issue here so the manager asked her to come . Today was going to be a busy day for her . She ordered few books that were supposed to come in the next month but they came today and now she was running out of space to keep them " What are you doing ? I told you that these books were supposed to go in the 4th rack and not the first . What is so difficult to understand ? "

Tyler walked to her . She got very happy to see him" Oh look my boy is here . " She was seeing him after quite some time . She hugged him " No calls , no messages , Have you forgotten your own lady ? "

" How can I forget you ? "

" You look so different . "

" Good different or bad different ? "

" You are looking handsome than before but your eyes are looking tired . It seems like some negative thoughts keep you up late at night . "

One of the boys that was arranging the books came to her and asked where he was supposed to keep the books . She gets a bit irritated because she has repeatedly told the same thing to them . Tyler offers to help her " I am familiar with the place and honestly I don't have a lot to do so tell me the work and I will set everything right . "

" No , no , Tyler don't bother these boys are just so stupid they can't even understand a simple thing . You don't have to go through any trouble . "

" Beth it is not a trouble . I want to . It will be like reliving old times . And it is always fun to work for you . "

" Fine if you insist . Just give these books to Tyler , Tyler . . . . . "

" I know . . . . I know . . . . . Just give me a minute . These are fiction so they will go in the 3rd rack and the history ones will go in the 5th shelf of the 4th rack . "

" Oh you remember everything . I also remember that you like cold coffee . I will ask some one to bring it for you . "

" It is really like reliving old days . I remember when I was a kid and I did good work you used to buy me cold coffee . "

Tyler piles up the books . Beth was curios about his life " Enough about the work talk . Tell me more about you . . . . . . How are you and how is your life ? . . . . . .And you know when I say life what do I mean . " She said in a teasing way .

" Well my company is running well . Things between me and my parents are fine . And you know that fine is a good thing because generally things between us are very rough . And . . . . . And that's it . My life is not very interesting . " If she was aware about the surprising turn of events that took place in his life , she would have known that he said the last line sarcastically .

But this was not what she was expecting to hear " Oh dear Peter , you didn't understood what I meant . I meant how is Mindy . I have not seen her in a while . I was hoping that when you will come here next you will bring her along . And you know a little birdie told me that you and Mindy got married . Congratulations to both of you . My best wishes are always with you both . "

Tyler got uncomfortable . The more he tries to run away from her memories the more people bring her up . He said " We both are not together . "

" Yes I can see this . You have come here alone . But next time you come here bring her along . I want to meet my girl . "

" No when I said that we are not together , I meant that we broke up . "

Beth was surprised to hear that because she knew that they both got married " What happened child ? I thought that things were good between you both . "

" Yes , yes they were but I guess we were not destined to be together . "

" Oh my heart weeps on hearing this . I was hoping to hear some good news . Whose fault was it ? "

" I guess both of us had a part . Can't blame anyone . Now I will go and arrange the books . "

" Yes , yes , I will catch up with you later . There is some issue in the accounts . "

Tyler was arranging the books . He thought that he stepped on something . He moved his leg , he stepped on a bracelet . He bent down and picked it up . He whispered " Mindy . "

Clara asked Steven to leave . He was disheartened , he felt like he was going to lose his whole life . He held her hand " Just listen to me once and I promise I will leave after that . "

" Fine say what do you want to say . "

She snapped her hand " Oh God Emily again . "

" No , no , it is not what you are thinking . I am saying that Emily will not live with us anymore . She moved back to her house . Isn't that a good thing ? "

" So what is the issue if we are meant to be then we will find a way back to each other . Today is just not the day . And if we don't find a way back to each other then just accept that we were never meant to be . We were a mistake . It is just that we took a long while to realize that . "
