Emily ran towards his dad . Ava grabbed her by her arm " Come with me . " She said sharply .

Emily: " No I want to see my dad . "

Ava: " You can't . "

Emily: " And who are you to tell me that . "

Ava: " His wife . Now I can ask you the same thing who are you ? . . . . . . . Can you answer this ? "

Emily: " I am his daughter . "

Ava: " Kevin had cut you out of his life because your face reminded her how he was betrayed all his life and he was kept in a shadow . You both mother , daughter made living difficult for my husband at least I wanted to let him go in peace an I don't see what wrong I have . "

Emily: " I don't care about anything . All I care about is that I want to be with my father during his last times . "

Ava: " Like you don't know that you are the reason he is dead . "

Emily: " What the hell are you talkin g ? "

Ava: " He got a heart attack what do you think . He was a fine man but after everything happened he started spending all the time in his rooms . He started sleep talking and he called out your mothers name and he said that he hated her for what she did . He started drinking . Ones he just stormed out of the house and he came back after 5 days . A kind fellow brought him home and he had no idea where he was all these days . He told me that he hated you . . . . . . . . . "

Emily " He hated what my mother did . He didn't hated me . "

Ava: " Of course , you will think this . . . . . . . . . . . You know I have already wasted a lot of time and I am willing to waste no more . So you young lady get out of this house and don't you ever dare to show me your face and take your little sin with you . "

Emily: " I am not going anywhere . . . . . . . And yo know what the house that you are living in is mine . "

Ava: " Sure in your dreams . "

Emily: " When ,my mom dad dad was concerned about my future and he made me the owner of this house , so clearly you are no one to ask me out and if you want to continue living in this house with your good for nothing daughter then you better do as I say . . . . . . . . . "

Ava: " What do you want ? "

Emily: " You know what I want . "

Ava: " Ok , you can see Kevin . "

A daughter is a darling for a father who dreams of her upbringing and wedding and her life from the day she is born. As such, the loss of a father leaves the daughter completely shattered and numb as she loses her guiding star and the lovely person of her life . . . . . . . .

She held Kevin's hands ;

Emily: " Dad , I can't believe my eyes , my ears , my senses . I don't want any of this to be true . I pray for it to be a nightmare and when it will get over you will be here with me , cheerful like you always were . I can't even imagine my life without you . I remember when I was a kid every time I watched a horror movie or when ever I got bullied I used to run to you and ask you to hold my hand because I knew that you will never leave . I am not able to carry the weight of all the memories in my heart . You have left me alone to deal with the mess of life when you know that I am not able to walk even a single step without knowing that you are there beside me to pick me up if I fall . I feel so alone . I am very scared dad please hug me just like you used to do . I can't believe you won't be there with me . I just want to tell you that I will never forget you and I will be the girl you always wanted me to be . I miss you dad "

Emily was disheartened . She went into Kevin's room to feel his presence . There was a big picture of Emily in his room which clearly showed that he was missing her . She walked around the room relieving the memories of her father . His dad used to capture little moments because he said that memories and dreams are only thing a person truly owns and when you loose either of them you loose who you are . He lived his life to the fullest . He though Emily to treasure the precious gift ' life ' . He changed when Ava came into his life .

His whole life was in this room . Emily remembered that he showed her his yearbook and that was the first time Emily realized that she and his dad were so alike . He said that Emily was the best gift he ever got . He said that he will always be there for her but now he was just gone leaving behind his memories .

Ava walked in the room ;

Ava: " What are you still doing here ? I thought you left . "

Emily: " I will leave in a short while , I just wanted to feel his presence for the last time . "

Ava: " Well I guess you are done now because it's time for a clean up . "

Emily: " What do you mean ? "

Ava: " Come on in . "

Ava called in two men that were waiting outside the room to be called in .

Ava: " You can start packing from the book shelf then you can do the cupboard . "

Emily: " Wait . . . . . . . wait . . . . . . . .wait , what is happening here ? Who are they ? "

Ava: " They are from a charity house they have come to take Kevin's stuffs with them . "

Emily: " What ? . . . . . . . no , who called them ? "

Ava: " I did . Isn't it obvious . "

Emily: " Why will you do that to dad ? "

Ava: " He is dead . He won't be needing his golf stick or his novels or his clothes . So what is the point of keeping them and moreover we could use this room for many other things . You sister wants to set up a gym here . You know to be in good shape . "

Emily: " It has barely been an hour and you are getting rid of dad . "

Ava: " I am not getting rid of him . I just don't think that there is any point of keeping any of these things . "

Emily: " You hated him that's why you are doing this to him . "

Ava: " I never hated him but he hated you for sure . So I don't think he will want you here . "

Emily: " You are talking about my dad ,. "

Ava: " He is . . . . . . . I am sorry he was not your dad . Do you want me to give you that letter ? It must be some where around here . Well excuse me . You can take this TV also we are planning to buy a new one . "

Emily: " No keep back every thing you can't take any of them . "
