TITANIA: Goddess of War

Chapter 19

Aliens were shooting at the buildings, people, everything that was moving.  Neilrosa and Tony were desperately trying to stop the attacks, but there were a lot of them.

"Where the hell they are?!" Tony exclaimed, frustrated. Nat, Clint and Steve were obviously taking their time. Princess glanced down on the Tower and saw Loki, who came upon the platform, already in his armour with a horned helmet. She was prepared to go down and fight him when Thor landed on the platform.

"Thor is back! Loki is taken care of." She screamed to the earpiece, because of the noise around, so Tony could hear her.

"Good, at least one is down." He said hopefully, but regain his focus on the Chitauri flying from the portal. So did she. She summoned another sword, this one was bigger and longer than the other. She was slashing and stabbing all she could, trying to kill as many as she could before they get to the ground.

"We need to go down there, Stark. We are useless here if they are already in the city." She was breathing heavily as she landed on the roof of Stark Tower.

"Stark, we're on a three heading northeast." Finally, Natasha's voice sounded through the earpiece and Neilrosa smiled. She took a few steps back and breathed in. Shaking her head, she ran forward and leapt from the building, catching like that attention of the nearby flying aliens and they followed her. She joined Stark in the air as they lead aliens away from the people on the ground.

"What, did you stop for drive-thru? Swing that park, we are gonna lay 'em out for you." Princess gave him a side glance as they flew by the Tower. She glanced at Loki and Thor too, fighting on the platform. They too sharp turn and some of the Chitauri crashed.

Natasha and Clint were piloting the plane towards the Tower. Steve was in the back, getting ahold of the bars in the ceiling. Iron Man and Neilrosa flew past them, a hoard of aliens at their tail. Clint released continuous fire and they flew through the smoke up to the Stark Tower.

They came to see Thor and Loki fighting on the catwalk of the Tower. Loki spotted them and throw Thor down, taking out his sceptre and firing at the quinjet. 

Neilrosa heard the commission above her, lifting her head to see a quinjet going down with a rotor on fire. She was about to go help them when a Chitauri fired at her, hitting her right in the abdomen. Thank god for the armour or she would be hurt pretty badly. She groaned and shake her head, getting back to her feet and launched at the alien, cutting off his head.

She flew down to find the rest in the quinjet just the meet then halfway.

"You sure took your time." She said sarcastically as she landed before them. Natasha and Clint gave her surprised looks as they never saw her in armour, let alone to fly.

"Well, not every one of us has magical crystals." Steve chuckled and eyed her. Seeing her like this now brought back memories to him. She just frowned and turned around to lead them back to Stark Tower. They came to the overpass and looked up at the Tower. A giant armoured ship came flying through the portal.

"That's Leviathan, a warship do Chitauri,"  Neilrosa informed then as they looked at it shocked. The aliens jumped from the ship onto nearby buildings and inside them, shooting civilians in the process.

"Stark, are you seeing this?" Captain asked him, as now he was the only now up in the air.

"Seeing. Still working on believing. Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?"

"Banner?" Princess asked surprised.

"Just keep me posted." Tony sighed and went on, flying after the Leviathan. he needed a plan on how to stop him.

On the ground, Clint and Neilrosa were firing arrows at the incoming Chitauri, killing as much as they could.  When aliens got too close, the princess used her swords to s***h them. Natasha was using her guns and widow bites and Steve his shield.

Nat and Barton ran to crouched behind the cab, observing the situation for the moment. Princess just fought 3 Chituari at once and with Steve's help, threw them off the bridge. Then they jogged to the two agents behind the cab.

"We've got civilians trapped." Clint pointed to the bus beneath the overpass and the nearby street folded with people, as Loki flew above them on the crafts, with few other following him.

"Loki." Steve pointed out. Neilrosa was following him with her eyes, narrowing them as she was watching him closely. 

"He is going to kill them. Cap, we need to do something about it." As she said that, an explosion could be heard from the busy street. People weren't fast enough to hide as Loki blew up a few cars and policeman were just looking, horrified and ran for their lives.

Natasha got up from hiding and fired to an incoming group of Chitauri.

"We got this. It's good." She told him and Neilrosa added.

"Go!" 

"You think you can hold them off?" Steve glanced at Clint as he was the determination in Neirlosa's arms.

"Captain," he grinned and get an arrow ready, "it would be my genuine pleasure." He got up and start firing the arrows like before.

"I will stay, you don't need me. I will be more useful here." She smiled at him and patted his shoulder, telling him like this to go and don't worry about her.

Clint was already in full fighting mode, shooting one arrow which disjointed and hit not one but three Chituari at once. Nat joined him, kicking one alien after another and throwing her widow bites. Neilrosa glanced at Steve one more time and went to help her comrades, changing into her "quick armour" and killing aliens as fast as she could. 

Cap left them fighting and jumped off the overpass, rolling onto a bus and ran to the busy street. Clint and Neilrosa jumped down there and helped people out while Natasha backed them up with her guns. He broke the window to help people out, and the princess tried to open the door so that people could get out quicker. 

She helped them find a shelter and joined the two agents with shooting on the enemies.

"Just like Budapest all over again!" Nat leaned a bit to Clint, but her eyes never left the targets. 

"You and I remember Budapest very differently." Clint frowned and looked up, spotting something in the sky, but he never stopped shooting.

"Well, that's something I want to hear." Princess joined them and using her adamantium shield, stopped a few blasts from Chitauri. Her "question" was met with utter silence from both as they struggled to keep aliens from the overpass. Some of them managed to get there, constantly shooting at the heroes and more were to come.

Goddess quickly changed into an adamantium armour. It slowed her down, but it would be inconvenient if she would get shot, she wouldn't be much of a help. Gripping her enormous sword in her right hand, she launched forward, shielding herself with the adamantium shield in her left hand if needed.

Barton tipped one with his bow, taking out another arrow and stabbed it. Natasha was sitting on a neck of another alien, using her widow bites to neutralize him. Then she picked up a weapon of one of them, using it against them. But three Chitauri cornered her.

Neilrosa saw it, summoned a small electric dagger and throwing it at one of them, lightning caused by the impact killed the rest. Natasha sent the young woman a bow of acknowledgements and they went back to the battle, trying to survive. The agent was using the Chitauri weapon to continuously shot at them and princess changed to smaller swords, katanas with her Japanese armour.

Clint was tackled to the ground by one of the aliens but thankfully stabbed him int he process. What he didn't see was a Chitauri behind him, who throw him on the roof of the nearby cab. He hit his head and groaned. Before he could react, other one kicked him to the ground. Barton was tired, nearly exhausted, but he continued to fight.

More and more were coming as if there was an endless number of them. The three warriors were getting exhausted with continuous slashing, shooting and kicking. Nat took on two more Chitauri, but they backed her onto a cab. She was quick enough to dodge the blow, which would probably hit her head. She got to her feet, trying to land a blow with her weapon, but before she knew it, she ended up on the car as one of them grabbed her leg. She screamed from pain, breathing heavily and tried to regain her strength.

Princess was backed to the ground as one alien was trying to stab her heart while she was holding his weapon with all her might, only centimetres from her chest. Her sword and shield were out of her reach and the only thing left for her were her legs. She tried to kick him or get from beneath him somehow, but he was holding her pretty firmly. She was breathing heavily, when suddenly the weight from her disappeared and hand in blue glove appeared, offering her help. Thor came too, killing few with his bolt of lightning.

"Need help? You looked pretty helpless there." Steve chuckled as he helped her stand up. She just stuck her tongue out at him and went for her shield and sword.

"What's the story upstairs?" He turned to Thor.

"The power surrounding the cube is impenetrable." Thor was breathing heavily, still, a bit dizzy from the stab wound Loki gave him.

"Thor is right, we gotta deal with these guys." Tony agreed as he flew above them.

"How do we do this?" Neilrosa asked him curiously.

"As a team." Cap looked at all of them.

"I have unfinished business with Loki," Thor muttered.

"Oh yeah! Get in line." Clint was counting his arrows and eyed the God of Thunder.

"Save it. Loki's gonna keep this fight focused on us and that's what we need. Without him, these things could run wild. We got Stark up top, he's gonna need us to-" Steve was interrupted by a sound of a motorcycle. Doctor Banner in clothes too big for him was making his way towards them through the debris. He got off the motorcycle, as Steve came closer to him, surveying the damage.

"So, this all seems horrible." Banner said, still looking at his surroundings.

"I've seen worse." Natasha half-chuckled.

"Sorry." He said timidly and looked tot he ground.

"No, we could- use a little worse." She nodded and smiled.

"Stark, we got him." Steve hold his earpiece and directed his response to Tony.

"Banner?"

"Just like you said." Steve sighed.

"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you."  Tony flew out of the corner, towards them, with Leviathan tailing him.

"I don't see how that's a party." Natasha stuttered and shook her head. Iron Man drew the creature lower till it skimmed the road and flew to the heroes. Bruce turned around and started to walk towards the Leviathan.

"Doctor Banner now might be a really good time for you to get angry," Steve said to him.

"That's my secret, Cap. I'm always angry." Bruce turned his head to him and chuckled. Turning his head back, he started to transform to Hulk, ripping his clothes and punch the Leviathan to the ground.

"Hold on!" Tony said and fired a missile, causing the explosion of the Leviathan. Neilrosa shielded herself and Clint while Cap did the same with himself and Natasha, Thor took the blast. Chitauri on the buildings around them started to cry out and torn off their masks.

Avengers stood in the circle; Hulk roared, Hawkeye pulled an arrow, Thor had his Mjolnir ready, Black Widow loaded her gun, Captain America stood ready, Neilrosa Dreyar took out her katana, Sayori and swung it, and Iron Man hovered a bit above them before landing between princess and doctor. They looked at their surroundings, prepared to fight.
