Elijah's eyes narrowed as he watched Cassius lead Rory out of the room. He knew that Cassius was up to something, and he was determined to find out what.
As he sat back in his chair, Elijah's mind began to spin with possibilities. He knew that Cassius was a master manipulator, a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.
And what he wanted was Rory.
Elijah's eyes flashed with anger as he thought about Cassius's intentions. He knew that Cassius didn't care about Rory, that he only wanted to possess her, to own her.
But Elijah cared about Rory. He had been watching her from afar, admiring her strength and her courage. And he knew that he had to protect her from Cassius's clutches.
As he sat there, Elijah's mind began to spin with plans. He knew that he had to act fast, to stop Cassius before it was too late.
And he knew just how to do it.
Elijah's eyes gleamed with determination as he pushed back his chair. He was going to stop Cassius, no matter what it took.
And he was going to start by getting closer to Rory.
----
Rory's mind was spinning as she followed Cassius through the hallway. She couldn't shake off the feeling that she was walking into a trap, that Cassius was hiding something from her.
As they reached the door to the study, Cassius turned to her, his eyes gleaming with intensity.
"I want to show you something," he said, his voice low and husky. "Something that will change everything."
Rory's heart skipped a beat as she hesitated. She knew that she should be careful, that she shouldn't trust Cassius too much.
But there was something about him that drew her in, something that made her want to take a chance.
"Okay," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
Cassius smiled, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Good," he said, his voice dripping with seduction. "I think you'll find this very interesting."
As Cassius opened the door to the study, Rory's eyes widened in surprise. The room was filled with artwork, with paintings and sculptures that seemed to come alive in the dim light.
But it was what Cassius showed her next that made her heart skip a beat.
"Look at this," he said, his voice low and husky. "This is the real reason I brought you here tonight."
Rory's eyes widened as she saw what Cassius was showing her. It was a painting, a beautiful and haunting portrait of a woman who looked uncannily like her.
"What is this?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Cassius smiled, his eyes gleaming with intensity. "This is the painting that started it all," he said, his voice dripping with seduction. "This is the painting that made me realize that I had to have you."
Rory's heart skipped a beat as she looked at the painting, as she realized the true extent of Cassius's obsession.
And she knew that she had to get out of there, before it was too late.
