“Do you think she’ll mind if I go in?” I turn to look at Lola, who had started to calm down. It had been 3 days since the attack, and Lola’s parents had had to drag her to her bedroom since that night and keep her there. Her and Liam have always been close, and when she heard that he was attacked - and it was bad - she fainted. When she finally came around she went crazy, threatening to kill anyone who was involved. It was only now that she had calmed down enough. “I promise I won’t make a scene.” She blushes, and I realise I hadn’t answered her earlier question. I smile kindly at her. “Don’t be embarrassed Lola. He’s your brother, of course it was going to have an effect on you. I’m sure Aurelia would be happy to see you right now.” She nods back at me and heads inside.
