What Is It?
Liam POV We end up shooting the ball back and fore a few more times. Aurelia jumps up to hit a ball back over to us and then it’s like everything goes in slow motion. The wicked grin drops from her face and a look of panic flashes across her face. She lands back down on the ground, with the ball splashing on the water next to her. I watch her spin to her right, looking directly at the forest, her eyes searching. Me and Cruz both flash across the pool to get by the girls and Marcus picks up on what’s going on and gets in front of them just before we get there. “What is it, baby?” I ask. She doesn’t respond, either ignoring me or not hearing anything I’ve said. “Aurelia?” I say a little more sternly trying to get her attention. I watch her eyes continue to search but she shakes her head.
