“It sometimes happens,” Alonzo said, with a shrug.
“But I mean—how? How did he find your place?”
“Well, it’s the residual connection. We had him twice.” He looked out the window again. “But I’ve never seen it like this. I mean, so accurate.”
“Is it dangerous? I mean could others—you know?”
Alonzo shrugged. “Well, like I said, it’s never happened like this. I mean, right outside.” He smiled at Garner. “I think it’s you. You showed him a really good time.”
Garner groaned. “But I think this is important. It could be a real problem. And, look at him. He’s like a beacon, walking up and down out there.”
Alonzo said nothing for a while. “Maybe he’s a Sensitive,” he said at last. “He might have responded to your Special Sensitive nature.”
“Huh.”
