Frankly, it rankled that he was evaluating Garner’s own Special gifts—but then he caught himself, and decided his irritation was more a result of being unhappy with the current situation.
So, he allowed himself to be guided back to the couch, where he was offered a milky warm drink that was quite pleasant tasting, and then promptly fell asleep.
