JAKE
“Jake over here!” Mark called out, one of the young guys in town. He is not exactly young. He is a married man with two kids. He looks like a mess, which means his wife kicked him out of the house again.
Ah… married couple.
The cafe smelled exactly how a cafe should smell. The smell of brewing coffee and the amazing smell of those fresh cookies and croissants and donuts and God…. It’s heavenly.
The cafe is also noisy in the morning as it’s mostly crowded with almost everyone in the town. At the far corner are the older men, sipping warm coffee with a plate of croissants each. At the other end are the mothers and sisters, laughing and talking about God knows what? … oh wait, I think I hear them….
