I cannot believe that I am proposing tonight. I have found the perfect engagement ring, and while I was picking the ring, Cassie called me. It felt like she somehow knew what I was up to. She asked me what I was doing, but she was supposed to go on a trip with Diana. I am not sure what changed, but I am happy that they cancelled the trip because now I get to make her mine forever.

" Hey, baby," Cassidy answered with a sleepy voice.
" Hey, I'm sorry I missed your call. " My heart started pounding hard. My god, her voice alone sent shivers through my whole body. She sounded like she was crying. Why would she cry? Maybe she was asleep.
" It's okay, babe. " She answered, sniffling.
