Chapter Four A Type A Personality Victoria Darvin reached for the document on her desk, swiveled her chair ninety degrees to the left, then leaning back and stretching out her long legs, began to study the contract, first flipping through it to note the number of pages. There were twelve, neatly typed on white bond paper, stapled together at the top to a sheet of blue backing paper. It had been prepared by another attorney, one representing a party adversarial to her own client. The terms had been agreed upon, and she had merely to examine it to determine that it conformed to what had already been painstakingly negotiated.
