I trailed my fingers along the surface of Lake Osiris, staring into its depths. Small lines of ice traced the surface, creating intricate designs. Sighing, I pulled my hand away and stood up, wiping dirt from my clothes. It had already been a week since Lux departed, and so far there wasn’t a single word. No one knew if they arrived at the Mana Mountains safely. No one knew if they had run into trouble. Only deafening silence greeted each and every one of us.
